I don't know if you heard that from somewhere or are just speculating about Jammer, but either way you are wrong. He has become a very very good CB in the league, he is our #1 CB and he will be for the next 4-5 years unless Cromartie goes ballistic, which he might.

As of right now Marcus Mcneill is better than Brick. He started all year for us and didn't just play well but at many times really dominated. Marcus Mcneill was like the 3rd place vote getter for rookie of the year. He is GOOD.

I'm hoping if the Bucs don't nab Calvin Johnson, Maurice Stovall really develops as a red zone target and catches over 40 balls.

All this talk about the Chargers moving Jammer to Safety is absurd. It stems from one season he played at Texas as a safety. He has been in the NFL for a while now and has finally become on the top CBs in the game (Top 10 IMHO). Why would SD now switch his position when he is finally hitting his prime as a CB?
That being said, I think Cromartie will suprise next year. He showed flashes of brilliance, as well as flashes of stupidity (as to be expected from a rookie corner). I see him putting Florence into his more natural nickel back position by week 4.

Devin Hester....jk
Seriously- Dusty D and Jamar Williams. I think Jamar is gonna take over for Briggs (with a medium sized drop in production) and Dusty D is gonna become a staple of our rotation

Amen. Hey here's a name that hasn't been thrown out yet: Bernard Pollard. He'll win a spot and crack some people this season.
Other than that I have to second Cromartie. His physical abilities are absolutely insane. Has anybody else seen that pic of him at training camp leaping over the moon to intercept the ball?
here it is, not sure how to post pics

As a Panther fan, I think Jeff King might come out and surprise people in 2007. I think he's got the tools, and the opertunity (with all of our other TEs being bad recievers and Mangum retiring) to make an impact. Don't look for 70 catches, 800 yards and 8 TDs, but I think 35/350-400/3TDs is possible.
I also think Deangelo Williams will bust it out this year. The game will slow down and he will speed up! =)

I would like to say Vernon Davis on offense and Mario Williams on defense. I wannted to see Vernon light up the 49ers offense but he got injured so I'll be looking forward to seeing him put up some real numbers.
Mario Williams is my guy on defense he was on a horrible defense and he never got any help. He's gotten off to a small start, but he'll bounce back and have a 10+ sack season next year.

Honestly, why would you decide where to put a player based on their name?
