A friend of mine vehemently argued once (recently) that if given the opportunity, he wouldn't give up Xbox (including Windows gaming) for double digit million dollars. And given how much of a diehard XBLA player he is, I believe him. If someone is enough of a diehard fan of something, it is entirely possible that they wouldn't give it up for any amount of money. Now, I haven't seen the movie so I don't know what situation the person is in, but I do believe without a shadow of a doubt that there are people (and I do not mean people who are wealthy or even reasonably well off) that would give up their fanhood for eight figures.

A habitual shut-in who's only life purpose is the support of a team and more specifically the worship or a player would never turn down a chance to be publicly outed as the destroyer of everything he's based his life around?

So in the last couple weeks I've watched Shutter Island, Mystery Team, State of Play, Law Abiding Citizen and Sherlock Holmes (my work is boring).

I've decided Mystery Team > Shutter Island > Sherlock Holmes > State of Play > Law Abiding Citizen.

Ummm the single highest grossing film in the history of the world? I think not.

But yea, idk how people can be all that excited after some of the pics. They look extremely corny and fake in their outfits.

I will be perfectly happy if Thor is a bit campy and doesn't take itself TOO seriously. If it does, I think it would be more like a SyFy Original.

thor is hard to make into a movie compared to the other marvel heroes. making norse mythology have a place in the real world is tricky. it can't fail though considering they have gildroy lockhart directing it.
