I think the picture I supposed to represent a physical view of him as he is talking, not after the fact.

But if it grew, it would not be a lie and then there would be no need for it to grow.

An infield inside the park homerun.....nice. Those infielders lack the zip on their throws to make it in the majors.

Love MLB. Never knew about that wonderful little trick, though.

I did that all the time in backyard baseball. Pete Wheeler was one quick MOFO.

Between that gif and me having just watched this episode, I feel compelled to post this hilarity
edit - I posted this on a computer without sound. Sorry for the lame song instead of the dialogue.

the keyword is "now" it's no longer "now" when the word is finished being uttered.

Now does not always imply "instantly"; it can also mean "to follow shortly".

That's Major League Baseball for the NES. It would only work against certain teams. Toronto was one of them. I grew up on that game.

SNK Baseball Stars was the best baseball game - no doubt about it.

Ken Griffey Jr. baseball!
if you timed it right you could basically hit singles all day and keep a carousel around the bases. Win games 90-0 no problem.
It stopped being fun after a while.

This is the truth. Wish they'd put out something like that again. I get tired of the officially licensed crap... Gets boring.

I bought a PS2 off of my friend when I was in high school not long after the current gen stuff started coming out, and I went to mall to buy some used games for it...one of which was an old version of MLB. 2005 or something like that....
Anyway, I hated playing against Tim Wakefield until I figured out that he never threw anything but his knuckleball. So I'd just set the controller down and let him walk me around the the bases. He'd normally get pulled after I was up 17-0 in the first inning.

You live very close to me then.
He didn't walk away either. Ejected and is/was in critical condition.
