Problem is that when a team has 2 wins with only 3 games left on the schedule, a lot of players will develope "injuries" that keep them from playing those last few games.
The interesting thing about that is on 05 we had Herm as HC vs. Mangini in 06. Herm runs a much easier camp than Mangini does, but we had less people breaking down as the season went on with Mangini as HC...
Giants suffered pretty bad from injuries as well. The loss of Toomer really hurt Eli. Also, the reason the Giants D was as bad as it was was due to injury. Strahan missed time, Umenyiora and Arrington, which is arguably three of the best defensive players. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Pierce get injured?
With Ahman gone Green Bay's not too bad. Our biggest question now is Woodson. He made through all of last year, but that would really hurt if we lost him for a long period of time. Behind Harris and Woodson we have some youngs that I like and have potential, but at this point in their careers none of them have been proven starter material. Next would be Ferguson, he always seems to get hurt. He really isn't big to our team anymore though. He won't really matter whether we have him or not.
