Realistically, Gardner looked very good passing the ball. He should have had 2 TD's and 100+ passing yards if not for a dumb penalty by Molk.
And honestly, as long as the defense doesn't completely **** the bed (which yes, they have done once already) this should be a walk the rest of the way. I'm far more concerned about the Big 10 schedule, when our defense will actually have to attempt to tackle actual good players.
Then again, I thought RR would be fired after he went about 5-7 or 6-6 this season anyway, so anything better would be a bonus.

Yeah as long as are defense doesn't completely suck in the second half then we should win. But I do see a lot of potential in Gardner and I do look forward to what he can do in the future.

Devin Gardner is a lot slower than I thought he was.

Eh, I think he's pretty fast actually. He just seems to be straight line fast. He's not going to put a move on a guy like Denard will, and he doesn't seem to have great acceleration. He's certainly not as fast as Denard, but who is? If you had seen this kid prior to the RR era, you know you'd have thought he seemed like a damn fireball out there.

Unfortunately, we probably won't be looking great on defense here, as it seems like alot of the backups are in.

Easy safety for Michigan.

Ball is getting all the frustration from the Arizona game. Unfortunate for them.

GERG's hair could mesmerize a virgin into an orgy.

Picked off by Mouton!!! Now just score on this drive and we will have a very comfortable lead.

I could have picked that off. The QB stared down his receiver for a good seven years, allowing Mouton to recover from a poor drop.
Where the **** is Fitzgerald Toussaint?

Yeah I am curious to see Toussaint also. Well it looks like Shaw is hurt, we just might see him eventually.

Toussaint might still be too hurt to play. Or else he's in the doghouse. Cox is clearly in the dog house over something though. He can't even get a sniff of playing time.

I didn't think that was a bad drop actually. He's got to take those read steps forward on play action regardless. He may have come a little too far forward, but he still did a good job of getting back in his zone.

Herzlich isn't the most agile guy, but he breaks down in space well and not many people get away when he gets his hands on them.

I would really, really like to see Michigan's backup defense.
They might actually pat the Falcons on the ass as they run by them

Tackling was by far his biggest weakness out of high school. Plus he's a big CB that excels when he can press a WR. When GERG has him playing 10 yards off the WR, he's going to struggle, especially as a freshman.
