One thing thats for sure is that we both will have very good QBs for the next couple of years.

That a great game. Falcons laid it all out, amazing job by Matt Ryan. 50 pass attempts? Damn, he has come a long way.
The game was so frustrating at the end there when the Ravens took the lead, it was unbearable.

What a great ******* win, toughest game I thought we had left this season barely ahead of the Saints later on at home.
Definitely a defining game in Matt Ryan's career, 32/50 316 yards and 3 TDs, and prolly should have been even better with the 4-5 drops. Amazing on 3rd down all night and even all year. Matty Ice 1 Flacco 0.
Very happy for the win but still some glaring issues, defense needs to learn to play w/ a lead and stop letting teams back into it, that falls on BVG not blitzing or doing anything that gave us previous success, also the front 4 have to get more pressure in key situations, we had good pressure tonight (at least better than most the year) but Bierman needs to get better and we just need more burst.
Grimes...Not sure if its just me but I just dont like Grimes at the CB spot, to me thats prolly our biggest need right now along w/ a pass rusher. He just doesnt get the job done, Hes a solid tackler but just plays too soft, I mean he doesnt have much of a choice the guy is a beanie weenie out there, He got manhandles my Derrick Mason on that TD...really?? Derrick Mason. He a great athlete but just cant match up and make the tough plays when we need them.
In addition to that, Dunta locked his side down all night for the most part, I think I saw 2 balls thrown his way. Wasn't too happy with the LB play tonight but w/ Spoon back next week that should be a huge help.
And wtf happened to HD, hes so awful this year, no way he has more than 10 catches and just as many drops. Im not sure if its his knee or in his head or what but right now Id rather have Finn on the fied than him, hes been a non factor all year. Also glad to have Jenkins back, playing great a filling his role perfectly, clutch catch by him tonight.
Overall 7-2. We had 3 tough games left and we got 1 of em. From here on out its smooth sailing.

Awesome win for us. We are getting Spoon back next game as well. The season is looking bright. Now we get a long rest and play the rams.

Absolutely fantastic game. Couldn't believe we let them back in it, but that's going to happen against quality teams, and the Ravens are an excellent team(best in the league going into tonight, according to ESPN). What matters is how you come back from it.
Just an incredible team effort - apart maybe from Douglas :P
We have a real chance at the #1 seed now, and we should be odds on against ANY team in our house.
Still a long way to go, and a lot of tough games, but we are brilliantly positioned...

Dunagan, I think you are severely underrating Grimes. He's definitely be good for us this year. He wasn't even unbearable last night either. Just a few throws that he couldn't have done a thing about.
Harry Douglas is terribly though. I've been calling for it for 2 years. We need a playmaker that Matt can dump it off to and just make something happen.

Big win last night, well done. Look forward to the Bucs getting another crack at you guys down here in Tampa, should be another great game. Not to be **** jockey or anything but it flabbers my gast that Roddy isn't ever mentioned when it comes to discussing top tier WRs. Each year he's good for a couple of games just like he had last night where he just cannot be covered. That is all.

Great job by Sam Baker last night. Noticed they move Suggs over to the other side for the second half to get some pressure.
Pretty good job by the D. Not elite, but good enough. It's disturbing that they gave up the two touchdown drives at the end of the game, but hey, sometimes the other team makes plays. No one player on D had a bad game. Agree that Grimes did an excellent job in coverage, he got thrown on a lot and did well. The completions were all excellent execution by the Ravens, and well timed O beats solid D almost every time.
#1 team in the NFL right now?

Grimes did a solid job last night. He was great in coverage, it's his size that really hinders his game. He can have extremely tight coverage but QBs will still pick on him because the WR can always make the catch above him.

The 2011 draft is sucking in slot guys. We might have to get one through trade or something.

ATL, Im always a bit harsh on Grimes. So I will give him some credit, He is a completely new player than last year and thats a good thing. Hes done a very solid job all season, a few plays hes been beat but I get it, that happens, even Revis gets beat.
The thing about Grimes, and I have said before, is hes a great athlete, and just like Bos said, his size hurts him alot, he is always in good position just gets beat b/c hes too small. I think those are the plays that really bug me, b/c if he was able to be more physical and not boxed out all the time he would be able to break up so many more passes b/c of his good position.
The Boldin TD last night, good position, slow on getting his head turned, but mistimed this jump a tad, but just thinks if he had 3-4 more inches, thats a broken up pass, so I tend to be dramatic in the heat of the game like all of us.
I still do think we need a big play corner to be the guy for 8-10 years and let Grimes be the nickel guy who cn blitz off the edge w/ speed, and just be a lil more rangy than the responsibility of matching up w/ top WRs.
Bos: Check out Jeff Maehl from Oregon, guy I love in the 4-5th round, would be a great guy to have in the slot for us, just 1 guy Ive had my eye on

The only one I really like that might make an impact is Jerrel Jernigan from Troy. We just need speed on offense.

Lol. It's always fun to come in here and read your post about the team. You've got to be harder on a 7-2 team then anyone else ever. You guys aren't perfect, but are damn good and listening to you you'd think you guys were the Buffalo Bills.

haha. If you go to page 200 of this thread, I made a 2009 compilation of ATL's blowouts.

Yo Longhorn, we are proudly the hardest group of fans, like you said you would think were 2-7 not 7-2.
You def should go look at page 49, Bears game in the dome when we came back, now those game posts were epic
