Matt Ryan is a sexy beast. I feel like he only plays extremely well when he needs to. (4th quarter, against tough competition)

Matt Ryan will have a bad game, we know that. But he will get it done when it counts. Against the Bucs he was terrible, and he had great protection. Still he played his best at the end and got the W.

IDC if we lose the last 3 games, let's just not lose throughout the playoffs? I think that's a good deal.

Honestly, although we are 11-2, I don't think we win the SB. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see us winning it just yet. We are a great young team, but this is looking more and more like New England's trophy to win. I think we lose in the Conference Championship to a team like Philly or New York. We'll go into next season with high expectations and then I see us winning it. Our defense is very young and another season will only make them better, Matt Ryan again will only get better with experience. I hope I'm not being too pessimistic.

When you have a team that's 11-2 and will get home field advantage through out playoffs, you better be hoping for a super bowl. You can forget about next year. People who say next year all the time will never accomplish anything.

If we secure home field we have as good a shot as anyone, and just remember the Super Bowl is in Dallas, in a dome. So not like we have a disadvantage there, just gotta get there first.

I just hope we can draw the winner of the Tampa Bay/NFC West game in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Let New Orleans, Philadelphia, Green Bay, Chicago and New York knock each other around a bit before we face one of them in the NFCCG.

That's my best case scenario.

Just saw a pretty awesome stat. Matt Ryan is only 2 wins behind Dan Marino for most win in their first three seasons as a starter. Pretty good company

That would be beautiful, but that's also unlikely given that Tampa would have to be the #1 WC, ahead of NO, Green Bay, and NY (on current standings). That seems very unlikely, especially given that Tampa still has to go to NO.

Any of the wildcards (I'm expecting NO to be the #1 WC, although losses to us and the Ravens could open the door to NY) will drill the NCFW winner, but at least we should face a team coming off a long road trip, while we've had a bye.

So after seeing Turner dominate Carolina again, I was curious what his numbers were against the Panthers recently. Here they are:

In his last 4 games, he averages 22.25 carries for 111.25 yards and 2 TDs against the Panthers. Dominance.

This got me thinking about what Roddy White averages against New Orleans because he seems to do pretty well against them.

If you extrapolate the numbers Roddy White got against the Saints in his last 7 games to a 16 game season, he would finish the season with 1450 yards and 11 TDs. lol.

We have some clutch players.

Man it's really nice that we can just take it easy the rest of the way. I love that we close out the year in the dome against the worst team in the league.

We have to have Roddy and Turner at full strength come play offs.
