Haha yes, the Timberwolves version of Hassell would be awesome. Lockdown Defender and I swear he never missed a 15 footer. We need guys like that. Aaron Afflalo, Nicolas Batum, James Posey before he sucked, etc.

Would actually be a great idea. His value is never going to be higher than it is right now. No way in hell we actually do it though.

This idea hurts my soul, but I kind of agree. There is no guard on the market who intrigues me that much though, with the possible exception of Iguodala.

At least 1 guy stepped up...I believe I got ripped pretty hard for questioning Wall and saying Nick Young looks like a pretty damn good player. Wall hasn't played since, btw.

You don't really NEED a superstar PG to win. I think Flynn is fine if you surround him with enough talent. Johnson is going to be a damn good swing man, Love is a sexy beast, Darko is solid, and Beasley seems to be turning it around. You could go after another scorer or focus on getting a big time C to strengthen your front court. Then again Kyrie Irving may be too good to pass up. Dude is going to be a stud so long as his foot injury doesn't hamper his development.
I think first off though you need to decide what to do with Rubio. Do you try and bring him in as 'the franchise' or do you see if you can trade him? I think you try and trade him. I'm not as down on him as Brodeur, but I definitely don't see an elite/star player.
One thing is for certain though. Kevin Love is legit and is becoming a marquee player in this league. He's a damn good player and he's a good character guy to have. He plays hard every night and backs it up with monster numbers.

Richardson may be the odd man out. He's not the greatest fit at SF. Maybe they even try Hedo at PF, and J-Rich at SF. lol. haha. Or they just go really small with J Rich at SF, Hedo off the bench. This is gonna be fun. I am excited to see it shake out, though.

I've heard Otis say Gilbert may come off the bench. I think eventually Jameer will, but I can understand in the beginning Nelson still starting.

I don't think Rubio will ever step on the floor of the Target Center as a member of the Wolves. We need to get rid off him, cut out losses and admit it was a mistake. Flynn/Curry would have been such a better combo.. Between Johnson and Martell Webster we have enough shooters. What we need are better defenders, everywhere. And I'm talking defenders who can take more than three steps dribbling the ball without losing it out of bounds, ala Corey Brewer. We seem to put up points easily, but we can't stop anyone worth a damn. The Wolves seem to think fouling is a form of solid defense. They are second in the league in differential at +2.96.

I havent gotten to see the wolves play this year, but id imagine with Rambis being their coach they probably run the triangle, which definitely does not require a superstar point. The lakers have gotten away with having Fish for years who is nothing more than a role player who can hit an open J. I love him, but hes not all that special.
Someone like CP3 or D Will or any great PG would be on a leash in the triangle.

Yeah, I saw that Gilbert volunteered to come off the bench also.
Whatever happens...it's all good. I'm really happy to have Hedo back and I've always been a big J Rich fan. And he's still playing better than both Lewis and Carter.
PG Nelson
SG Richardson
SF Turkoglu
PF Bass
C Howard
6th Arenas
Doesnt sound so bad. You could really get creative with the lineups. One problem, however...we have no backup Center.

lol I heard on the radio this morning Gilbert Arenas said he felt betrayed when the Wizards drafted John Wall over Evan Turner because of all he had done for the team on and off the court. Not sure where I should start with on that statement, haha.

Once they gel, this could become one of the best offensive teams in the league.
Problem is that they're hosed defensively if Dwight gets into any sort of foul trouble, which could be exacerbated by the poor perimeter defense that's likely to come with this lineup.

Haha, exactly. where to begin, how dare they draft a prospect in the league of James, Rose, Howard when they already had an aging chucker who is in embarrassment to the entire organization...the nerve.

Orlando picked up 2 Trade Exceptions. $6.3M from for Gortat to PHX and $1.3M from trading Lewis to WAS.
Maybe we can use that to get a back up C.

Looks like they're trying to get Turiaf from the Knicks or Battie from the Sixers for Chris Duhon.

^Knicks should not even consider trading for Duhon.
I'm fine with Douglas as the backup.
I do wonder if a Magic 1st round pick would be worth anything to say, the Nuggets, though...
