You're forgetting the UCONN Women's coach. He has the longest win streak in NCAAB history. Krzyzweski can be #2.

That's all lovely but I'm still taking K any day of the week. The fact that he didn't even have the best talent in the nation last season & he was able to turn them into champions was just amazing to watch. Gino pretty much does it with the best talent year end and year out plus the women's game is far more watered down and less open compared to the men's.

Am I a bad person for hoping that the UConn women lose to Stanford today?

I'm sure that your judgment is in no way clouded by the fact that you're a Duke fan. It's also awesome to watch you try to play the "Duke has no talent!" card. Just fantastic.

So he should be faulted for recruiting elite talent? That makes no sense. He still has to compete on the recruiting trail with the likes of Tennessee, Duke, Stanford, Ohio State, UNC etc...

Where did I say "Duke has no talent?" That clearly stated that he didn't have the BEST talent last season. I could have sworn that team in Kentucky was quite loaded, or that Kansas team was awfully stacked. And Gino having players like Taurasi, Bird, Cash, Charles & Moore makes things just a tad bit easier when you basically have just two programs winning titles. Aka UConn & Tennessee dominating womens hoops.

Congrats on Gino for winning 90 in a row though. Once there is more parity in the women's game I'm sure I will be more impressed with that feat.

Kind of like there was a ton of parity back when UCLA won 88 in a row...?

I have never been impressed with what UCLA did either. But it is what it is.

Well as long as you are saying that, then I have no qualms with your argument. Proceed.

They'll be back to irrelevant once Cuse kicks the **** out of them in the Garden next week. Yours truly will be at the game in all orange.
Doesn't St. John's have like 12 seniors on that team?

Dammit Fisch, let me enjoy the nice string of wins we put together. (Davidson, Northwestern, Providence, West Virginia, Georgetown)
And yes, there are 10 seniors on the team.

My school beat the living **** out of the runners up from last year. BOOOOOSH! I know Butler graduated a **** ton of people from last year, but we beat them by 20+ points. That is awesome!!!!

I liked the idea of Lavin having Keady as just a mentor, assistant, note taker.. etc and a guy with 500 some wins..
St Johns looked pretty good in that game especially down the stretch.

And we actually had a lead at the end of the 1st half. Next year is going to be real fun with all the freshmen.

'Nova's just about as good as they were last year right now...had to throw that out there in this thread at some point, this seems like as good a time as any.
