This I am aware of. So if the game was played at a neutral venue you would not be favourite. However, it's being played in Atlanta and therefore you are the favourite to win.
We are clearly the most attractive opportunity on that list. And we have the Pats connection. If we want him, I think we get him.
Sounds like he could be STL bound as their OC seems to be the favorite for the Cleveland job.
And I can't wait for this game. I love how confident Packers fans are and how the media is on their jock. We'll just keep doing our thing and beat them... again.
If this game Saturday is as close as this one from late November, I think there will be some heart attacks, at least on our side of the fence.
What a game that was by the way. One of the best 5 games of the NFL regular season.

If I remember correctly, Falcons had a terrible pass rush that game. I'm sure BVG is drawing blitzes up as to how to sack Rodgers in this one.
i just hope bvg sticks with his gameplan if he is gonna be an aggressive playcaller and not wuss out and drop everyone into coverage if the game comes down to a final drive by the packers. bvg lost the saints game for us because he stopped blitzing.

The offense lost that game. He didn't feel like he had to be aggressive for the offense to get the ball back.

I think this will come down to who has the chance to score last. The Packers won't make the mistake of leaving Ryan more than 30 seconds to score again.
Both defenses can play very well at times, but I wouldn't back either of them to stop either quarterback in a 2 min drill.
We'll just keep doing our thing and beat them... again.
Not to be a troll but I love how you bring this up in almost all your posts about this game like it means something. You managed to beat us by a fg in the closing seconds after a huge special teams fail. Even if you won by 50 it still means nothing. This is an entirely different game with an entirely different meaning.

I think ATL has a great point.

Question: will this season be a disappointment if the Falcons go one-and-done?
Not to insult you, but is this a serious question?
When you have the top seed in the NFC and you can't win a playoff game at home to a wildcard team (which you already beat), how is that not a disappointment.

You are right, a game between these two teams, played a couple of weeks ago isn't valid. Wait what? Any given Sunday, rabble, rabble, it's a solid litmus test and should obviously be looked at.
You act like a huge special teams fail doesn't happen ever. Now if we had a couple of mega returns that kept the game close and we ended up winning, I'd call that lucky. But Eric Weems and our ST are pretty damn good and a very important piece to our team and they did their job there and put us in a position to win a tight game as we usual do.
The game obviously won't be a carbon copy of that one but to say it means nothing and should be discarded is just silly. I question whether you would feel this way had the Packers won.
