Suh struggled against the run for about the first 4 or 5 games, but he was lights out the rest of the season. Correct me if I'm wrong, but both Devin McCourty and Joe Haden struggled early in the season before getting in a groove as well.

There is absolutely no argument for Suh not winning the award. None. He should receive every vote. If this were like the Heisman, and you could put in 2nd and 3rd place votes, then McCourty should get every 2nd place vote. But that's not how it works, so every vote should go to Suh.

How is that for a Bears fan defending a Lion?
