Absolutely insane game by Rose.
I hope guys who were saying he is a pass-first PG will admit they were wrong. The guy is averaging 20 FGA per game

I'm not talking about his prime. I'm talking now. But yeah he was a damn good playmaker back in the day. I also didn't see LeBron on that list so he should be removed as well.
On the Rose front, he's a new breed of PG. He's a scoring PG who in times of need will be aggressive offensively and look for his shot instead of looking for teammates. I still firmly believe (and agree with D-Unit on this one) that Derrick is a PG with combo-guard skills. His strength is his ability to score at will and he's pretty damn good at passing/playmaking.
I know he's not the most efficient player, but he's also winning a **** ton of games with an unhealthy roster and he's been clutch all year long.
****, I love talking about Rose. We are extremely lucky to have had MJ/Scottie and now Derrick. I really, really, really hope he stays in Chicago or I'm going to go into massive depression (unless he leaves after his prime in the latter stages of his career).

I think it depends. There are combo guard shooting guards, and then SG/SFs and pure SGs. I'd call most pure SG's and SG/SFs wings for sure.

A true wing is supposed to be able to play the '3' position on an offense. A lot of the guys that were listed are primarily SGs. Lebron is in fact a wing though. As is Carmelo, Durant, Granger, Cool, Batum etc.

I don't understand why the nugs want Harris and Uzoh. They have Lawson, but i'm actually ok with this. I love Harris and Favors...but it is 'melo.
well, it's all on 'Melo now.
and while i'll be bored during the NBA draft, we've been so hit or miss lately, it doesn't kill me.
Billups-Morrow-Melo-Humphries-Bropez isn't too awful. throw in farmar, sasha, outlaw and james on the bench. hmm. now we just need a PF.
well it's all based on 'melo signing the extension. damn, this is it

I hate the Nets. I hate how they try use Jay-Z as a marketing ploy.
They try to be like
Nets: Hey look young promising black player! We're owned by Jay-Z! This is the cool team to play for! And we're going to Brooklyn bc Jay-Z is from there!
Jay-Z: Uh uh uh uh...Hov!
Nets: See!
When in reality, Jay-Z owns like 1% of the team and has no say in anything. Are players actually dumb enough to fall for this?

Dont give up hope on your Knicks landing Melo, it can still happen. This Melo drama is far from over.

Instead of the all star game, they should have a two hour special...sort of like a combination of the decision and the bachelor. Prokhorov, Dolan, and Kroenke could each take Carmelo out on a date and then they could have a flower ceremony at the end.

I would agree. Rose' crossover takes a deuce on Tim Hardaway's. Iverson's is pretty hard to touch, but I think Rose is his equal, and might be a bit better.

John Wall to Blake Griffin tonight. In all honesty the Rookie/Soph game is far more entertaining than the actual allstar game.

HAHAHA you gotta be kidding me. ESPN just broke a story that Melo said there is no meeting between him and New Jersey this weekend.

I disagree although Rose definitely has the best cross over since AI. Rose's might be flashier but it's also wider. Hardaway has the most efficient crossover ever, once he's past you it's over. Guys have time to recover on Rose because his crossover is pretty wide.

Hey now, at least you still have the irreplaceable trio of Gallinari, Chandler, and Felton.

No one will crossover as nasty as Iverson. Derrick Rose is the closest there will be, cause he is so damn lightning quick. Hardaway's crossovers were more efficient than anything cause he wasn't all that fast or agile, but they were very deceptive. If i grade em, i give AI's a 99, Rose's a 97 and Hardaway's a 94.

Yeah, that'll mean that the Nets now won't be the most irrelevant team in the NBA, it'll be the Raptors. Again.

I would say there are still more irrelevant teams. Raps have at least made the playoffs in the last 5 years...you know...unlike the Kings who are only "relevant" for having a nutcase on their team.
