I figured it probably had something to do with that. You'd think he would just keep calling them the "Sonics" then or something.
Calling them the Zombies makes me think of a team with really really old nucleus who is playing better than their age should allow.

The full name is the Zombie Sonics. He has since shortened it in general.

Obviously when Perk is playing the Thunder improved their size incredibly, but they are already missing Jeff Green with no conistent 3rd scorer. You can't rely on guys like Harden, Sefolosha, and Ibaka to give you consistent scoring. They should have made a move for a guy like Jamal Crawford.
