Illinois is a tough team to play when they are on.

Yessir, although obviously I thought it would be close. I knew VCU would dictate the pace of the game and if G'town can't run their stuff they have nothing. VCU is dangerous to any team. Glad after all the bashing they took for making the tournament when nobody questioned teams like USC, Michigan State, Villanova, etc, making it in.

They went 7-4. It's not like they were 3-8 or something. Louisville was the most shocking one but it's not that big of a suprise that the three other teams lost.

Outside of Louisville losing to Morehead St., my most shocking loss was Xavier getting beat like they did by Marquette. I figured that game would be scrappy but I thought it would be a lot closer than it was.

I had VCU beating George in my bracket. Unfortunately the rest of my bracket is toasty toast. 3 of my elite eight teams are gone. Haha!

I had morehead, Richmond, and vcu. I am owning that region.
(pretends he doesn't have Kansas out in the next round)

I went 24/32, which is good not great, but I lost just one Sweet 16 team (Louisville) and nothing further. I've never gotten through the first round so clean before.

meh, none of them were shocking. the big east is consistently, massively overrated in march. well, they're overrated the rest of the year, too, it just becomes more apparent now.
either way, 24/32, but i'm not missing a single 16 team yet, so feeling pretty good about my chances... i think i'm 23/32 with one 16 team lost in my work pool.

26/32 with one Sweet 16 team gone. Didn't expect Kalin Lucas to forget how to play basketball in his final trip to the dance.

It's crazy to think how good Kentucky would be if Cal could keep his one and done guys. Damn imagine this team with Wall and Cousins, or hell even with Kanter. Knight and Jones are as good as gone, Lamb would be pretty dumb to declare right now. Lamb to me needs at least 3 years in college not only to develop his guard skills but to put on weight. With the absurd recruiting class Kentucky has coming in next year if just either Knight or Jones stays they will be insane, although Texas will be pretty sick if Jordan Hamilton and Tristan stay in school, with Kabongo coming in.

His selling point to the kids is most likely, do you want to play in the NBA?!
STRIP you are right though about Jones and Knight, they will most likely declare.. Jones being a lotto and Knight being a 1st round lock with potential to be a lotto.

Kentucky would be absolutely dirty if Cal could keep his one and dones, but he'd only be bringing in ridiculous recruiting classes every few years or so. Don't think they'd get Knight to sit behind Wall and Bledsoe, though when that class had a bunch of seniors they'd be incredible.

Ian Eagle is an underrated broadcaster.
A lot of time left but I think we're going to get a great finish between West Va. and Kentucky. Edit: maybe not

If Josh Smith lost some weight he could be even better.

Fudge. Lost an Elite 8 team. Somehow had Texas A&M going pretty far. Go VCU! I guess.
