On the NBA store, certain teams have theirs listed and others don't. :(

To be fair can we even be certain MJ, Bird, Magic and Kobe etc. would've stayed if they were drafted into a situation similar to Lebrons? 7 years in and the best player you've ever played with is Mo Williams? Yeah he is a dick, and he handled the free agency situation terribly, but to be honest i'd get sick of getting surrounded with nobodies and being expected to win championships.

See look at here... you're totally misconstruing the argument.

Very few people are chastising Lebron for leaving it's WHERE HE CHOSE TO GO that people are complaining about.

Hahahahahahahah. Here we go with this stuff again. Now everyone is back to trying to diminish what he's doing because of who he is playing with, even though when you watch the games it's been predominantly Lebron carrying the team as they were before. Wade played great vs Boston, but very average vs the Bulls except in spurts. Bosh knocks down some key shots, but without Lebron elevating his game to the level he has this season the Heat would have bowed out a long time ago.

That said, I am ready for them to get swept now, but I don't know how people can try and still knock him. It be different if he was playing sidekick to Wade being dominant. If LBJ had a series the way Wade did and vice versa, everyone in the world would have had a field day with it, but it'll just get overlooked now.

This might make sense if it was still the off-season, unfortunately his play made absolutely none of this true. Soooo...

Meh. There were nights when Pippen scored more than Jordan too.

Lebron is Wade's wingman.

Everyone seems to have forgotten, it would seem, that Kobe demanded a trade right before the Laker FO got Pau Gasol.

He never intended to get traded. It was to push the FO to make a move.

Where would you have wanted him to go then? New York to team up with Amare and whoever else? Chicago to team up with Rose? the Clippers to team up with Griffin and Gordon? All his other options outside of Cleveland (which, by your post, you're saying was alright to leave) were to team up with other superstars, it just so happened he picked the best of the bunch in Wade and took Bosh along for the ride.

Like it or loathe it this has become the age of the super team, Boston started it and Lebron felt he'd need more help than he'd ever got to beat them, which in my mind is a perfectly legitimate argument.

and i don't even like the guy, but he has copped far more than he deserves for a 26 year old that has made some mistakes.

At least if he picked one of those other teams there would be no doubt who the man is on the Heat there is nothing he can do He will always be the A-Rod to Wade's Jeter.

Why is everyone so obsessed with him being 'the man'? I'd rather win than be 'the man'. And any way, who here wouldn't want to move to South Beach (after being in Cleveland), play basketball with your friends and win 29 championships? I don't think i'd give a **** what anyone said about me, cause that sounds freakin awesome.

I don't think you get it. It's not that we're obsessed with him being "the man". He chose to go to Miami and gave that up. That's fine and dandy.

Just don't compare him to "the man".... Michael Jordan. He gave up the chance to be compared to Michael.

Anyways I hope and think the Mavs will win these series and here's my reason why... so far a lot of the Heat success in these playoffs have been predicated on Boston and Chicago choking away leads in the fourth quarter and subsequently the Heat taking full advantage (18-3 run to close out the game?!?!?!) That won't work against Dallas because I have a hard time believing the offense will stall with the most clutch and best shooter in the game on the floor. Dirk doesn't crumble during these moments.

Take for example game 5 between Dallas and Oklahoma City. Every time Oklahoma City was poised to make a run, getting a 2 second transition bucket, Dallas found a way to answer. I watched the game and it looked like Dallas was getting outplayed and outhustled yet the spread never dipped, Dallas hung in there until it was time to take over then as Mike Breen would say BANGGGGG! Dirk takes the lead with a dagger.

But that's not to say Miami doesn't have some extra gear that makes them impossible to slow down.

Ok that was just my food for thought. we can go back to the Lebron bashing now.

I'm just interested in how old some of you are who will even put Bron's name in the same sentence as MJ as this point in his career. I wonder how many actually remember him. I was born in 83 so yeah I was already a hoops fanatic in MJ's prime. It's kind of like young kids today who will say Usher is better than Michael Jackson.

I don't think the Mavs have a chance to be honest. Nobody is beating the Heat over the next 5 years at the very least.

I don't think i'd give a **** what anyone said about me, cause that sounds freakin awesome.
Cause he came into the league calling himself KING JAMES and trying to model and act like MJ since his first game. Then goes and makes a 2 year saga about when he is going to be a FA and what is he going to do. Saying how oh I am going to make my decision to make the league better. Then goes and joins Wade's team.

I really don't think he did. Just because he realised the front office at Cleveland was incapable of bringing in any serious talent and championships over the last million years in general are won by teams with 2+ superstars?

If (big if) he wins some absurd amount of championships - 6, 7, 8 - whilst being able to play huge minutes, defend the oppositions best player no matter the position (except Dwight) and hit the big shot as he's done over the last couple of series can you really say he's not comparable to MJ? I'm not saying he'll be better, i really don't think he will be, but he will deserve to be mentioned with the best of them

Are you kidding? Have you even watched the games? There's a reason that Lebron is always taking the last shot. There's a reason that the ball goes to Lebron in the last two minutes. This is Lebron's team, Wade is the sidekick.

It doesn't matter what happens on the court. He'll always be the guy who joined D-Wade. Not the other way around.

I disagree with this statement. The difference between Jordan/Kobe and Lebron is that Jordan and Kobe both had/have refined games.

Lebron gets by on his athleticism, bulldozing his way to the rim and getting layups or flying high for a dunk. He's not gonna be able to do that for 10 years.

His jump shot is ugly and is not something he can rely on when his athleticism wears down.

I think him playing at a high level has a shorter half life than most great players.

We are not talking about who the best player on Miami is. Dwayne Wade is the leader and the captain. Lebron is his sidekick.
