Williams reminds me of David West.

If Rubio does indeed come over, they should draft Kanter 100%. The euro connection will attract more fans and he and Love compliment each other well on offense. They will still need a SG but they will have a solid core of 4 young players to build on.
To get the SG they need they could also package the #20 pick and Flynn to try and add one, or just draft one at 20

They probably couldn't even get Cuttino Mobley for #20 and Flynn.

If I'm the Hornets I'm trading them Marco Bellineli for #20 & Flynn.

Sources say Washington & Phoenix have been the most active teams trying to trade up for Derrick Williams. T'Wolves want a "veteran big man."

from DX twitter, Suns would have to include Gortat right?

Can't imagine what Phoenix would have to do to get to #2 from 13, probably wouldn't even be worth it unless Williams is committed to playing PF. I'd imagine it would have to be #2+Johnny Flynn for #13, Marcin Gortat, Jared Dudley, and an unprotected 2012 pick. Wizards probably #2+Flynn for #6,#18, Andray Blatche.

I think any team willing to take on Jonny Flynn deserves the 2nd overall in return.

He's a 3.4 mil expiring, for a team with cap room not going to make a big FA move, taking him on is nothing to acquire the #2 pick.

Do you really think the Suns would even consider moving Gortat straight up for Williams? I just can't see it, maybe it's something like Fropez, Dudley and #13

Suns might just be interested in Flynn by himself now apparently, had him ranked higher than Rubio, Curry & Jennings

Biyombo would attract more fans than Kanter IMO (thanks to Ibaka). He might not have the same connection on offense that Kanter would give them, but I'd rather have the safe defensive player, than the risky big man.

Whats the chance of Derrick Williams falling to #4? If the Cavs do indeed go with Irving at 1, Kanter most likely going #2, would the Jazz draft Williams? The popular pick for them is a PG like Knight or Walker but would they draft Williams there even though they have Millsap and Favors at PF already.Unless they think Williams can be a SF, which most people doubt. The Cavs might end up sitting at 4 instead of pulling off that and trade and still land the top 2 guys.
Of course the Jazz will likely be called by a few teams trying to trade up for Williams, but they might be sold on Knight/Walker enough to not risk him being drafted by another team.

Williams going #1 is more likely than him going #4.

What makes you think Kanter is the pick at 2? If we keep it the pick is going to be Williams.

I dont see any room for Williams right now on the T'Wolves. Beasley is basically the same type of player, plus Wesley Johnson should be playing SF and Love is your PF. Williams would just log jam the rotation even more. Adding a talented big man like Kanter would be the smartest thing to do IMO.

Williams can definitely be a SF but he'd be more useful at the PF spot. Having a PF that can space out the floor is getting more and more important to teams. There aren't a lot of PF's in the NBA right now that could even catch up with Williams.
And Kanter is a PF too, so might as well just move Love to the center position and try Williams at the 4 spot.

BPA is the best move in the NBA draft, and Williams is easily that after Irving. We would almost certainly shop Beasley for either a PG or a big man. If we want Kanter we can move down a few spots and take him, no way we would flat out take him at 2.

From all he rumors I've heard, the Kings will either trade up for Knight, or take Jimmer or Kemba at 7 depending on if Walker is picked before. I personally hope we try our hardest to land Knight since I think he would be a great compliment to Tyreke and we have had success drafting Calipari's players the last 2 years. A rotation of Tyreke, Knight and Thornton IMO would be deadly young trio in the back court.
We seem to have little to no interest in the big men prospects this year so I am ruling out a C or PF. There seems to be a very good chance that Dalembert stays in Sacramento with the cap room we have and the way he compliments Cousins. Adding a vet SF like Tayshaun Prince or Shane Battier would be ideal since they could add defense and a shooter to the team.

You really think Kanter will fall to the wizards at 6 or is that just wishful thinking?

His stock has fallen a bit, teams are a bit down on him. Cleveland is the determining team but reports are that they favor Jonas however his contract situation could put Kanter over the top. Raps are very likely to take Vesely if he's there.

Yea I hope for Kanter, I been casually following the wizards the past few years and Kanter would be great for us. Also it seems like the wizards would be his favorite to.

New tape has come out on Kanter the last few days, he looks disinterested and lazy. Wasn't playing defense at all. Being that a lot of teams really haven't seen him play much things like this might cause him to drop a little.
