dude its the best athlete, QB's are not athlete compared to RB's, baseball palyers and bball players
QB is one of the most unathletic postitions, besides a few people like michael vick, please dan marino was no athlete

Everyone on this site takes everything too literal. I am sure by "athlete" he meant the best sports "player" ever. And when people refer to sports players, they call them sports athletes regardless of position.
That is also the reason why the answer to this question in Anthony Munoz hands down, no questions asked.

Best PLAYER? Dan Marino
Best Athlete? Bo Jackson (I dont think he ever got a ring)
That said, Id rather have a better player than Athlete.

You are all joking right? I am having a terrible dream right?> Anthony Munoz was to LT's what Jerry Rice was to WR's. Meanwhile Dan just choked.

How the hell did Dan just choke? He easily could be the greatest QB to play the game, despite not having a ring. It just never matched up. When he had a good RB and WRs, the defense was crap. When the defense got good, he had no RBs or WRs. He was unlucky, but had all the talent to be the best, and still may have been.

Dan Marino would be the consensus best QB of all time had he won just 1 ring.

marino probably would be called the best QB ever if he won a SB or 2, but I voted Bonds b/c he's better at HRs than Marino was at TDs despite the steroids

its between Sanders and Ewing for me, Malone gets knocked for trying to win a cheap one as a bench player with the Lakers.

he should not of went to NJ in the first place. he only went there because NJ overpaid hugely for him to steal him from the heat.
