so what are the odds any guys flip-flop on their free agent agreements? if i understand correctly, none of these signings are official until friday? i don't get why so many guys are already signing, i'd be leveraging for as much money as i could get

All of the top CBs have been linked to the 49ers. They need a CB.

I've read that a lot of teams aren't offering because agents are obviously just taking offers to other teams and trying to jack up the price.

Technically you're correct some of these guys could say **** it and bail on a contract. Like I pointed out in some other threads though, chances are the guys who commit won't receive any offers from other teams and won't bother taking the calls. Teams who're vying hard for someone like Atlanta for charles johnson would've taken their best shot before they committed.

This probably happens every year, it's just being condensed down into one week.

I wonder if they cut him to only bring him back at a smaller contract. If not, then we have to watch Jon Scott at LT again. Gross.

Love the Durant signing. Still want Tulloch/Barnett and a corner.

He's serviceable. He's not horrible, but he's not great. He played RT his first couple years in the league, but since moved to LT due to him being left handed. He's not bad at all. Just someone who is replaceable.
He missed some time due to a back injury and is being rumored to be pushing in the high 300's with his weight.

Yea, I remember watching Suggs destroy him.

The Chiefs have had a revolving door at RT since John Tait left in 2003. I mean really how hard is it to find a decent RT? I'm not asking for a stud just a solid starter you can count on each week.

And have Jon Mcgraw starting at safety? I would rather have a revolving door at RT. =)

John Clayton seems to think that Joseph is down to the Lions and Bengals. And that the Lions could still sign Tulloch.

If Lions gives Joseph over 8 millon a year they will end up getting him. Brown would rather Give more money to Hall. Buyer Beware of Jospeh better atleast have a decent Backup because Joseph is bound to miss a 3+ games a year that is y i dont see him being worth over 8 millon a year.

That's a step in protecting Kolb as their QB. Surprised Denver isn't trying to re-sign their LT
