Greg Olsen officially available via trade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:D
Edit: OK, maybe not so "official" but if anyone wants him he's gone.
boooooooooooo! Why? He was actually used more than anyone thought he would be last year and didnt' do too badly. He's the closest thing we have on the team to a physical receiving threat.
The fact that you referred to Greg Olsen as somewhat of a "physical receiving threat" makes me think not only are you drunk but delirious from lockout talks, an insatiable homer and, in fact, Greg Olsen himself.
Olsen does absolutely NOTHING (period, but for sake of argument) that Kellen Davis can't.

Haven't heard any talk about Vince Young. He is better than some of these quarterbacks going to new teams. I think Washington and San Fran should look at him.
Just tweeted this, and meant to do it earlier when it occurred to me, but if the 3 years/$21 million contract Matt Hasselbeck is reported to have gotten is correct, he'll be making less annually than Kerry Collins did when he re-signed for 2 years/$15 million after the 2008 season (KC's had $8.5 million guaranteed; still no word on Hass's guaranteed money). And although Hass got that coveted 3rd year, his contract is backloaded with a good bit of money in that 3rd year - means they can cut him after two years, pay substantially less than the actual sum of the contract, and turn things over to Locker.
But, that mostly illustrates how much the Titans overpaid for Collins more than it does them underpaying for Hasselbeck, sooo... I just thought it was neat.

The Titans haven't officially released VY yet, but it should happen tomorrow. I hope he gets another shot. He actually played the best he ever has last year, and at Week 8 he had the Titans t-1st in the AFC South with a 5-3 record and were 1st in points scored. Then he and Kenny Britt got injured, and our offense suddenly developed Down's Syndrome somehow. Which is just weird, considering VY is the stupid one, but he leaves and whoosh, 2+2=chair.

San Francisco? I don't think so. I'd rather have David Carr back. F Vince Young.

I don't particularly get this move unless New England is gonna turn around and spin him to the Eagles for a better pick. Although with Wilfork as the nose, Albert will get to play DE and get after the QB which is really all he wants to do...
This is nothing like the Moss trade. If I hear one comparison I'll kill someone. Moss was already a near Hall of Famer for his position with a bad year or two. He never not passed a conditioning test, never laid down on the field, had more than 3 dominant years. It's no even close.

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

It is similar in the sense that BB has done this a few times. He takes local malcontents and turns them into probowlers.
