I wouldn't mind if Grimes walked..I like him but never fell in ''love'' (Pause) with him, wouldn't mind seeing Ownes or Franks step up in his spot.

All you need to know is the guy is straight up garbage.

I'm so pumped to watch Julio Jones. It's going to be like watching Roddy White and a bigger Roddy White. Even Arthur Blank said recently that Jones reminds him of White.

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing Kerry Meier, to see how he bounces

I was wondering where I posted this. It was supposed to be in a draft thread, but since it's not let's just say rounds of beer.

Glad to see Snelling back he is valueable and now we have depth at HB as I was worried about if we lost him. This takes some of the pressure of Rogers having to come in right away and produce. Even though I think he can do that.

Peria Jerry still has huge potential. It's his second year after a major surgery so he should be much better this season.

Same for HD, hopefully he can get back to what we had hopes of his rookie year and be nothing like he was last season.

This is false.
Franks did play in the NFL and in his action he played against Larry Fitzgerald and in the 2 passes thrown his way, 1 was defended, and 1 was an interception returned inside the 5 yard line.
Not saying it'd be smart to push Grimes out or anything, but I'm not one who cares too much for the Mighty Mite. He's too small and can be abused by larger WRs who are on an above average level in the NFL. That being said, if the QB isn't ON POINT against him and lets it float, then Grimes can generally get up and make a play.
Franks I think is a starter waiting to happen, and I think that if Grimes regresses this year, and Franks shines you could see the FO let Grimes walk, and put Franks in his spot, we can't afford to spend a big wad of cash on Grimes at this point, because we have Robinson with a pretty large contract. So I'm not saying that we should let go of Grimes or we should expect Franks to step up and take his spot. I'm saying that we have to know that the FO has a really tough decision to make.

I totally agree here, I want to see him step up and show me that Louisville form that he brought. He's got a gear that not many people in the NFL have, and once he can get into the open the only thing that can stop him is the turfmonster (San Fran game last year)
He's got his confidence back, and I think he's going to really have a good season for us, if he can start hot, he'll carry it through, if he struggles with the drops again he may not be tough enough mentally to recover.
I'm counting on Jerry big time. The fact he's going without the knee brace is awesome, the fact that he's back to 100% is awesome, and if we can get him to come in next to Babs and get great push up the middle then I think it will make Ray Edwards and John Abraham completely dominant. I don't think Edwards is a 12+ sack guy, he's just a huge upgrade over Jamaal. But I do think he's a guy who is capable of getting to 10, and I think our defensive line has the potential to actually be better against the pass than even Minnesota's was with RE. We have better spell rushers in Kroy and Sid, and we have a deeper DT rotation with Peters, Walker, and Lewis.
I think our DLine can account for 40+ sacks this year, if they remain healthy for most of the year. I do however think this is going to be one of JA55's last dominant years in the league. It may not be the last 12+ sack season, but I think he's going to be one that doesn't hang on too long once he's lost his elite pass rush status. But regardless, we're here for that Lombardi this year.

Julio looking good, Harry is doing work. First team is solid. The weakness so far is still Sam Baker, and Matt Bosher isn't punting too well.
