I'm not defending the Tigers.
I'm just finding a reason to laugh at the Mets equally. Shoulda traded that guy before he became a nobody.

Well he's still young enough where he can at least be a useful 3rd/4th OF. The problem is he has the knees of a 60 year old already.

He stutter stepped on a basic fly ball and then tried to dive for it when it was 2 feet away, and allowed a guy to score.

Quiet Brodeur. Delmon just got a big single to help us win.

Delmons been good for us offensively. His average is above 300 and he has some timely hits. His defense is pretty meh, but I'm not going to complain when we got him for nothing.

I'm really not trying to be a douche here now that he's not a Twin anymore and I'm sorry if it comes off that way, but he's not going to keep this up. And his defense is abysmal. Like worst in the league.
Edit-he's not even hitting well actually. .284 OBP.

Moose Tacos extended his hitting streak to 14 games. The whole team is really starting to come together. One of the best defensive teams in the league, possibly the youngest team in the league, and now all of the main players are hitting. Hell, even the starting pitching has been good lately. Not sure how they've still been losing...
It's wonderful how Yost left Wood in there to blow the game...

Yes he's been awful, and he has yet to take a single walk at all which makes it worse. Leyland also refuses to move him from the third spot, which is once again more insanely stupid lineup management.

Aarond Rowand and Miguel Tejada finally cut. Total desperation move by Sabes.

hey, how have all the trade deadline acquisitions been working out so far?
for cleveland, fukudome has been great while ubaldo has been great at home and horrible on the road.

Zack Wheeler has has been very good in his 5 starts in the Mets system. He's cleaned up his walks problem since he's arrived here.

Delmon Young is garbage but we gave up nothing, Fister has been very solid/Pauley has been awful and still not sure about what we gave up, Purcey was the worst reliever I've ever seen and I absolutely hate that we gave up Sizemore for him, and Betemit was a good pickup for the nothing we gave up.

I wouldn't say you gave up absolutely nothing. Oliveros could be a good bullpen arm. Not a big deal to lose him though you're right.

Bumgarner is a beast. If he can learn to be consistent and not give up 60 pitches in the first 2 innings we will have a more beastly rotation next year.

We now live in a world where Derek Lowe has a HR at the major league level. Drink it in, folks.

Finally Rowand got DFA'd.
3.5 years too late but whatev.
2 more years of Zito though. Oh, and Sabean gave him a 7 mil buyout as well. What, $126 mil wasn't enough Sabes? Clown.

Hunter Pence has been everything we hoped for when we acquired him. Can't wait to see how amped he gets in the playoffs.

This is what we needed to beat Lannan, a miracle. :)
Lannan pitched really well against us again. I'm just glad we finally beat him. I've really grown to dislike this dude. haha.

Braves traded for Jack Wilson after failing to land Jamey Carroll. Did someone say championship? At least I'll never have to see Julio Lugo again soon enough.
