Wow Grahm Harrell has been released. Ryan Taylor has been told he'll make the team, no real suprise with him.

Actually really like the roster move if we can get Harrell on the PS. I had said that that's what we should do about a month back, before people started calling Harrell a lock. Keeping three QBs on the roster doesn't serve much of a purpose with the new gameday rules. Cobb should be a good emergency #3.

undrafted rookie S M.D. Jennings has made the 53 man roster

Good story for a guy who passed up coaching at his high school to tryout for the Packers. I had mentioned to a buddy that I thought him and Lattimore would suprise people and make the team.

I liked Jennings, but I'm not sure I like the move. I'll have to wait and take a look at the full 53. Can he play corner?

Caleb Schlauderaff was traded to the NY Jets for a conditional draft pick(most likely a 7th)
Quinn Johnson has also been traded to Tennessee for undisclosed draft pick

Suprised they gave up on Schlauderaff so quickly. I didn't really think he fit the type of offensive lineman we look for when we drafted him but he must have really shown nothing.

Nice to see we were able to trade Quinn and Schlauderaff. Sounds like Quinn's draft pick will not be conditional.
Here's what we're probably looking at, with the uncertainties in bold.
Offense 24
QB: 2 Rodgers | Flynn
RB: 3 Grant | Starks | Green
FB: 1 Kuhn
WR: 5 Jennings | Jones | Nelson | Driver | Cobb
TE: 5 Finley | Taylor | Williams | Crabtree | Quarless
OL: 8 Clifton | Lang | Wells | Sitton | Bulaga | Sherrod | Newhouse | Diet-Smith
Defense 26
DL: 6 Raji | Pickett | Neal | Green | CJ Wilson | Jarius Wynn
LB: 10 Matthews | Hawk | Bishop | Walden | So'oto | Smith | Brad Jones | Francois | Lattimore | Zombo
CB: 5 Woodson | Williams | Shields | House | Lee
S: 5 Collins | Burnett | Peprah | Bush | MD Jennings
Special Teams 3
Crosby | Masthay | Goode

So they kept 10 LBers and 5 TE. 8 OL
You'd think they will try to move a LB or even a TE for an OL?

Why does it seem so difficult to get rid of Pat Lee?

To his credit he did really step it up at the end of last season and this preseason. Gordy practiced well but failed to impress come game time. Hopefully we can sneak some of these guys on the PS.

I doubt it. I think they went heavy at LB because of the inexperience and we just have too many quality TEs to let go of someone.

Meh. He's a former LB turned FB. Can't really catch nor run with the ball. Strickly a hammer-type FB. He's alright, just not starter quality for us.

I liked him. Good lead blocker, lays out some punishing blows. Doesn't offer much else(receiving, running) He is a better fit on a power running team, so I think he'll fit in well in Tennessee with them having CJ2K. I think it's a good pickup for the Titans
Packers like more versatile players and are obviously a passing team, so they didn't have much use for him. Didn't fit their style and just wasn't a good fit here

Pretty crazy, can't believe West/Gurley/Harrel made it through waivers.

Like our practice squad though I'm not really sure why we kept Borel.

I liked Borel. He's still a project but I can see why they brought him back. PS looks pretty good. Ross showed some promise and I'm a fan of Saine
also, in even better news, Mike Neal, Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley returned to practice today
I'm ready for some football!

Nothing against Borel, but three practice squad receivers seems like too many. I would have given Gordy a spot.

I wouldn't be surprised if West is plucked from the PS sometime this year
