I'd give it to Upton in the NL, just because. Huge advantage to Bautista in the AL though, **** anyone who says otherwise.

It's going to be Granderson or Ellsbury though when all is said and done. I don't understand how the voters can do a good job and give King Felix the CY last year but then totally go back to square one and overlook Bautista's year.

I thought you basically only went off WAR? Because Ellsbury passed him.

It's all defense based and that's the biggest problem using WAR as a be all end all.

Yup. I can't trust UZR THAT much as a means of evaluating a player as an MVP, so I don't use WAR exclusively.

I can't wait until Hit F/X comes out so we can really get ideal batted ball data.

The Tigers are ******* on fire.
I think they've now won 18-of-22.

They needed this stretch to put away the rest of the central.
They've also passed Texas, though, and have a 1.5 game lead for homefield advantage.

I think Granderson wins it in the end. The HR total is going to wow the voters.

Good Lord, the NL "races" are now just looking like teams fighting to be the sacrificial lambs to lose to the Phillies cuz they are so ******* good. Which is why all of us are cheering against them haha. But the Cards are just 5 1/2 behind the Braves for the Wild Card and 6 behind the Brewers. I know its a long shot, but I am proud the Cardinals haven't just packed their **** and gone home like a lot of other teams. I am proud!

Yeah, the Red Sox are just a miserable team right now. They've had some bad breaks along the way to start off the suck streak, but it's mostly been take your pick of ****** pitching or ****** hitting any given day.

I hate MLB for denying the Mets in their request to wear FDNY hats today.
******* idiotic.

Who doesn't it wow with his stature?
I know he has had good HR years but it is so legit how he has performed for them.
