Gonna be a tough one. If the Vikes are gonna have any shot, Adrian will have to have a big day as I don't think we'll be able to stop Rivers with any sort of consistency.

I hate our DBs. I can't say it enough. Idk how we could have done such a poor job scouting them during the draft process.

Really all that needs to be said. All this hype over how we now have an established veteran to mentor Ponder. Our whole offense is just a clusterfuck. If we can't get any kind of passing game our running game will be irrelevant.

It was like we were playcalling for Ponder, but we have a ******* 13 year vet at QB. Let him throw downfield. Having McNabb is completely useless if we're going to play like that.

I'm with you yo, I didn't think we had much of a shot, but to look like we did in the first half, and then come back out and look as terrible as we did in the 2nd half was just pathetic. Three offsides penalties, and 2 of them gave them first downs; just pathetic. With the way our offense had been looking, especially the passing game, we really didn't have much of a chance to come back, but you can't just give them game away.

Looking at the box score makes me even more embarrassed at having watched that team play. 10 first downs to 31, 22:43 TOP to 37:17, 28 passing yards to 330, and 9 penalties for 78 yards ... ick, that's just absolutely pathetic(I feel like I'm using that word a lot, but it's absolutely deserved, and I can't think of another word that portrays what I'm feeling/felt during the game).

One last thing before I try to settle down and do some homework(also ick...), can we just cut Berrian's ass already. Yes, that pass was underthrown, due to McNabb getting hit as he throws it, but it still hit him right in the hands 20(? - maybe more) yards down field on a 3rd and 10, just absolutely inexcusable, although that's become the norm with Berrian.

Charlie Johnson sucks. Phil Loadholt is our new Ryan Cook. Outside of Winfield and Griffin, our secondary is horrid. Chris Cook is going to cost us many many yards this season.

And could our offensive play calling be anymore vanilla? We go in 2 TE sets the whole game, and never even throw to our TEs? Id like us to try and go deep, but Beatrice Berrian is terrible and McNabb barely has any time as it is.

Hopefully our game plan for next week will be a little bit more creative then run, run, pass, punt.
