Ya its more open world. Each part of the city is owned by a different bad guy.

I received a Arkham City Steam code for purchasing a new nvidia graphics card. I thought it was Arkham Asylum until I opened up the box, I was happily surprised.
Also, I'll take Batman over Assassins Creed. I think AC is overrated.

I find that to be completely the opposite with me, but I am a huge Batman fan. AC1 was the most boring repetitive game ever. AC 2 was aight but nothing amazing. Stealth mode in Batman was far more fun than any of the AC stealth stuff, plus combat in AC sucked.

Wait. Combat in AC seemed the exact same as the combat in Batman to me.

You could engage one person at a time in AC. It was ridiculously stiff. I don't see how they could be mixed up.

I absolutely loved AC2 and Batman: AA...
So that's where I stand on the matter. But AC2 was really an excellent experience if you did everything possible, unlocking "the Truth" video and what not. I love the epic scope of the story and how deep into history it really delves.

for a minute there I thought you were pulling a Mr. West moment. The truth video was the only one I hated, I didn't even bother with that. But the other stuff was fun and collecting all the statues and bringing it back to life...only to see it burn.

Did you at least look that video up on youtube or anything?
Pretty cool. It was pretty important, though. Kind of odd that they'd make it something missable.

The end of L.A. Noire was kind of eh. Other than that I loved every second of it, the entire feel of the game was great.

Yeah, I'm with you. Not even really all that close.
Arkham Asylum just didn't have a whole lot of depth. Well made game, but it got boring pretty fast. Fantastic production values and everything a Batman fan could ask for in a game...but eh. I thought it was a little overrated.

I didn't even play Arkham Asylum, but Arkham City is way more intriguing to me looking just at the previews and trailers. I'm still on the fence if I should buy it or not though.

I would consider a straight shooter set in the Mass Effect universe. I won't rush to judgement about multiplayer, but it kind of sucks. That's not where I want them spending their energy on such an important title. But yeah, this is from some South African magazine. Might just be something similar to the Cerberus Network that they used the wrong wording for.

I got halfway through and got pretty bored with it. I definitely want to go back and finish it soon.

Well they are supposed to be announcing a new ME3 feature this month. And the gameplay is sharp enough for competitive multiplayer for sure, but I'm just not interested in it.

It just leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth after Dragon Age 2. Mass Effect 3 is looking great so far. I've already seen more locations from it than I did in my 30 or so hours in Dragon Age 2...but eh. I guess that game just used up some of my trust for them. Multiplayer isn't as bad of an idea as some would think in theory, but I just hope it's potential inclusion doesn't do anything to the singleplayer.

The Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is rumored to be unique co-op missions.

Not something I would care for, either. If that's true.
