Falcons coach Mike Smith and his assistant offensive coaches are putting the team’s offensive line under the microscope after three games and personnel changes could be coming soon.
“We’ve done it earlier in the season at other positions on the team and we’ll do it on the offensive line as well,” Smith said on Monday. “We’ll let that play out during the week and try to put the best guys out there.”
I remember when we got 3 straight winning seasons after never having back to back because we hired a HC and a GM who gave a **** enough to never be complacent... oh, and I also remember that last year we lost our first 2 away outdoor games but were pretty much undefeated in the domes.

From what I've heard Sam is having problems with his ankle.....
I've read from somewhere (Not really a creditable source) that the Falcons
my try two things with Sam 1. move him into the inside to guard and put
Will Svitek at tackle 2. They may just bench Sam and start Svitek at tackle to try to
light a fire under Sam in hopes that he will compete for his starting job back.

So what was wrong with Sam the first 3 years? Hurt vagina? Because hes terrible, sounds like a cop out for getting dominated to me.
God were terrible, down to the wire with the hapless seahawks, led by freaking Tavaris Jackson, no pass rush all day, horrible coverage, and another vanilla game called by Van Gorder.
I'm so happy to see Weatherspoon showing positive signs this season. He still has work to do, but at least he's flashing at times. He should be a good LB for a long time.

I wasn't very optimistic on Spoon before the year, but he's been great so far. As he ages and gains more experience and credibility he'll become one a true vocal leader of the league. Hopefully we keep him for a very long time.

Spoon AND Lofton are going to be a very good LB combo for us for a very long time. Hell, throw Nicholas in there too because he's still signed for 4 more years after this year.
