I liked the scene with Andy, Erin and Robert and the coffee. I like how literally Erin interpreted what Robert asked for and how Robert just shut down the conversation about Andy/Erin after saying he got bored, haha.

Good stuff last night. The cold open with Kevin was great but I loved the conference room scene with the incentive stuff.
And I laughed harder than I probably should have at these 2 lines both directed at Oscar.
Andy: "What do you think C-Span?" (**** and spanish)
Dwight: "Your friend Neil Patrick Harris really made me laught the other night".

John Krasinski directed this week's episode.

I liked that episode quite a bit. Andy is a lot like Michael as a manager, but the employees are far less annoyed by him, which is a nice switch. Should be interesting to see how they develop his character to grow into the position.

Robert has been a real nice breath of fresh air for the show. I am also looking forward to next week's episode.

I've been pretty impressed with the first 2 episodes so far.

I agree. The show has a fresh new feel to it. Part of that is the addition of Spader and the other part is the departure of Steve Carell, as much as I love him.
And this week's episode "Lotto", has the potential to be a classic. Always good stuff when they're in the warehouse.

I wasn't sure about Spaders character at first but I really like him in this role. I also think it was hilarious that he talked a CEO out of her own company.

Great episode. I lol'd heartily at various times and we got an explanation on Darryl not getting the job.

I generally liked this episode. Didn't have a ton of laughs, but that can be OK if characters do new and interesting things.
Hated the cold open though. And where in the **** is Creed?

Missed the cold open but in with you on Creed. We don't need a lot of him. Just one or two WTF lines per episode. We've yet to get that at all this season.

I don't like how much they're overplaying Kevin's stupidity. It's too cartoonish.

Oscar busting out the car window was hilarious. The whole time I was thinking "That's got to be California's car..." That would have made it super hilarious.
Dwight driving the fork lift through the wall then playing it off was one of the best Dwight moments ever.

I liked Jim manipulating Dwight into volunteering.
That's the first time in a long time I remember him doing his famous look at the camera.

My favorite part was when Erin was yelling at Kevin last night.

Truth, when he slipped it was an epic fail, that isn't the type of comedy the office is, but every year it more and more becomes generic and away from the more off beat type comedy. I miss when the show had more levels, every single character has become a Caricature of themselves. The characters have lost any sort of dynamism. They have made Kevin too stupid, Erin too weird, Oscar too Rudy G, Pam too self loathing. Andy really is the only character who has shown growth and development. Even in the few scenes they are in, you pretty much know the type of comment Ryan and Kelly will make. The show now is all about generic one liners. Not to say I wont watch as long as it's on but I know longer can't wait to see the next episode, and I had these same feelings about the show even before Michael left the show. The writers seem to be slacking a ton because every know and again there will be a great episode then followed by the same old.

You could just stop watching ... Most of us enjoy it. You can't judge the post-Carell era on 3 episodes.
