How about the "he didn't go" for Nelson Cruz? His bat was about a foot over the plate.

It's not like it would have mattered, you guys got Bad Scherzer today. Hard to overcome that.

My random Tigers offseason wish list:
1) Jose Reyes
2) Mark Buehrle
3) Coco Crisp
4) Any second or third baseman with a pulse
5) Middle relievers that are both good and not going to cost us Benoit money
Reasonable?

Yeah, an out doesn't matter in baseball. That is ludicrous.

Tim McCarver has no idea what Moneyball is, at all.

He is seriously one of the worst announcers ever. May be worse then Chris Collinsworth.

There is nothing wrong with Cris, he is far better than Tim.

Scherzer sucked, the Tigers were going to give up a lot of runs anyway. That's all I meant.

Yeah its not 1990 anymore, this is Joe Buck, not the far, far, FAR, superior Jack Buck. So yeah, the MLB needs a new lead play by play dude and analyst.

Brett Jackson is supposedly confirmed for not being apart of the Theo compensation package. I'm OK with it. We don't need another left handed outfielder. Much more interested in some of the low-minors Cubs prospects anyway.

They had a terrific analyst in Tito already, then brought back Tim.

Reyes is not reasonable. Buehrle is either staying with the White Sox or going to the Cards no in between there.

Yet you decided to put Buehrle to the Tigers anyway. Smart.

I've always known that about Buehrle, but Reyes is reasonable for the Tigers to some degree. Illitch will spend to win, he doesn't give a **** either way because he wants a title very badly before it's too late, and he has already said he wants another big bat.

I think he was talking about Michael Cuddyer.

Reyes isn't reasonable because he's re-signing with the Mets on the first day of FA!!!

No thanks on that. I'd rather let Delmon go and sign a platoon partner for Raburn, while Boesch stays in left (Boesch was well above average before his injury this year, which people may not have noticed).
