Im really happy for Pujols. He deserves the ring and to do it at home in St. Louis makes it extra special.

If I was a Rangers fan I'd be so pissed at Bid Selig. Texas should have had home field advantage. But no, the NL wins the All Star Game so the Cardinals, 6 games worse, get it instead. If Texas had home field advantage, they win the game last night and there isn't a game seven. What a stupid rule.

Good game and season for both the Rangers and Cards.
Next year though, it's the Pirates' turn!

Well, i agree in the sense that homefield advantage was HUGE. Wash couldn't manage his way out of a cardboard box.

Albert won with them on 2006.
BTW, you're welcome, Cardinals for Edwin Jackson. He pitched well against the Phillies and got a lot of good starts in September.
Now I realize why this irritated me lately, it's because this was too similar to what the Packers did.

I think home field advantage was everything. St. Louis would not have been able to come back without that crowd behind them. If nothing else, if the game had been in Texas, game six wouldn't have been postponed and Carpenter would not have been able to pitch game seven.

I will be the first to admit there was no way we should have been hosting game 7 of the World Series cuz we were the worst team to make the playoffs record wise. But putting that aside, **** YEAH MOTHER *******, AND I AM SORRY TONY LARUSSA FOR EVER TALKING **** ABOUT U!

Aside from the Cardinals, those picks were pretty terrible.

Considering there were only 8 options, I'm sure lots of people picked the Cardinals.

Congratulations to the Cards fans on this site. Especially FireMikeMartz!!!
F'n great series... Sickening that the Rangers failed yet again, but it sure was a great run cheering for them. I'll still come away with fond memories of this season.

Haha thats old school man! But yeah, good series. I mean I love we won, but it sucks to see good people like Hamilton and Wash lose. I know Wash is gonna get some crap and everyone's gonna talk how he was severely outmanaged and that prolly is true. But he is a good man, u know saying even before game 7 that game 6 was a game between two champions that just one could win. So no matter how the Cards did we were both champions and I thought that was a real classy thing to say, and he ran to LaRussa's office before the game to wish them luck. And of course something LaRussa can improve on: whenever the Cards won, Washington just said: they beat us. He is a good man, and the Rangers were a team I can honestly say there were no hateful person on there like others we may have faced. Carp yelled at Napoli, but Carp prolly yells at his garage, so yeah. And I will say again, its bogus we had homefield, Bud needs to change it to where the team with the best record in the regular season gets it. But hey, it was just great.
