I'm black. As for the names based on what I know and seen a lot of those names are most likely a domestic contrivance in the United States within the African American community and honestly the people I usually see with those names look and sound like a stereotypical hood-rat. In other words, someone from the ghetto or someone that grew up around people that were in a family that had a good amount of influence relating to either a ghetto/hood/poor neighborhood with a dense ethnic background specific to African Americans.

Basically these are ghetto black names. We'll stop ignoring the big elephant in the room. And I bet you none of these names existed before 1980. I can't imagine black folks in the 60's with names like Shaniqua or DeQuan.
