Announcers in the Florida game are blaming Brantley's struggles on a lack of complementary players. No, his struggles are due to a total lack of talent.

Brantley is good when he is 100% but since he can't be mobile he just sucks. They need to let him rest.Start Driskel and see what you got.Your not gonna win with a gimp QB.Even though our defense is still stellar.
Nice pick by Florida!

So Alshon Jeffrey kind of sucks. On that interception, he didn't even try to fight for the ball. He just stood there and let the DB catch it. And he's fat. Bust alert.

Well a horrible first half to the Gators. Man I hope just at least score in this game it is pathetic one for us so far.You can't move the ball with a gimp QB who can't run a spread offense.Maybe there is more I'm missing. But just replace him already. But a nice running game the gamecocks. Shaw looks pretty well for a small QB .

Mike Leach needs to get back into coaching. If I were rebuilding program in need of a guy to put me on the map, he'd be tops on my list. I'd just tell him not to recruit any of Craig James' kids....

Laugh if you want but if I was going to REBUILD a program, the 2 names that come to mind are Butch Davis and Lane Kiffen.
Just due to the fact they are probably 2 of the best recruiters in the country. I really wanted Butch when we hired Kiffen, I think he got a screwed a little with the UNC situation. Kiffen is very controversial but he always has Orgeron next to him and they are the best recruiting staff.
I understand what you are saying most definitely. Leach is always a solid bet, and would lure some big players if he was at a bigger program.

If he was five years younger, i still don't think he would be a first rounder. He's like a crappier Colt McCoy.

Well, I meant out of the available coaches. Kiffen isn't going anywhere. USC is a great program to be at.

Guess it is the offense that reminds me of him. He's accurate with that offense, and it helps mask his average arm strength.

I dunno I see a guy who's 6'4 220 and has a WAY better arm than Colt has ever had.

Yeah, those 2 yard swing passes are quite impressive.
I regularly get Big 12 games and a lot of Okie State, i don't think he has an NFL caliber arm by any stretch of the imagination, and i often see him underthrow a lot of balls.

Landry Jones throws as many swing passes as anybody and he has the best arm of any QB in this draft. System doesn't dictate skill set.
That's sweet that you get a lot of Big 12 games but I've seen enough Okie State to feel comfortable commenting on Weeden. I found it a strange comparison and I still do but agree to disagree. Clearly I hold a higher opinion of Weeden than you do and I'd be willing to bet you hold a higher opinion of Colt than I do so it's gonna be hard to see eye-to-eye on this.
