5 seconds into the Movie "Warrior" is all I needed for it to win me over. Any movie that starts and ends with a song by The National is going to do well. ******* awesome movie

Still need to see Warrior. I posted a song The National did for another movie this year a couple pages back. I don't always love them, but they can fit perfectly in certain situations and I'm even more interested in Warrior now.

Not sure if any has read this but .
Christian Bale is done as Batman. The Dark Knight Rise is seem to be all finshed and ready for it's may release. So who do you guys think is next in line or are we finally done with Batman movies for a while??
Here is the link. http://movies.msn.com/movies/article.aspx?news=685886

That's been known for a while...this is the end of the Nolan directed Batman films as well. But he will supposedly stay on as a Producer for future Batman movies. For all we know they may not even go with Bruce Wayne as the lead.

Well, i'd hate to be the guy that brings back Batman after the Nolan/Bale era.

I'd like to see the movies go in a different direction after this. Maybe more like the Arkham games.

A WB rep has already said that after the Nolan series is done that they are going to just reboot it again and go with a different take, presumably not as realistic as Nolan's are. Maybe get some villains that couldn't exist in Nolans universe.

Hugo was pretty fantastic. Really well done movie with interesting characters and great visuals. I really didn't know anything about it before going to see it, but I'm glad I did.

I watched the following today and yesterday:
Super 8 - This was awesome and I loved every second of it. I could go on for days about all the things I loved from referencing styles to allusions. It was great
Our Idiot Brother - Garbage. Completely unfunny garbage.
The Rise of the Planet of the Apes - About an hour and 45 minutes too long. Yeah.

Friends don't let friends see the rum diary. I didn't even feel the need to capitalize the title.

See, I really didn't find Super 8 to be exceptional whatsoever. Actually, I thought it was kind of plain and anticlimactic, to be honest.
Now I just finished watching Warrior, and despite being entirely predictable, I thought it was a really well done movie. Holy hell does Tom Hardy put on an amazing performance. Just an absolutely flooring performance.

Agree with the first two, but I actually liked Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Saw one of the more recent versions of "Liam Neeson is wronged and kicks ass/gets revenge" the other day, and it made me remember how fine Diane Kruger is. What a babe. She should be in more things, or I should watch more foreign films.

Completely agreed. Nostalgia at it's finest, and I don't think Segel has done anything bad ever.
Also just finished Horrible Bosses, which was pretty damn funny.

Can't wait.

Any movie where Nick Cage plays a mathematics teacher is going to be unsettling.
