Morgan was great in Season 1. But it appears he is gone.

Gatta agree with the majority of you, I was shocked to see that tonight would be the season finale and yeah, this season has sucked. They had 1 plot, which was to find a stupid lost girl and it was terrible.
Also, it says on AMC that this is the "midseason" finale, what exactly does that mean?

It's a midseason break, it'll be back in February to finish the rest of the season

The ending of that episode was pretty cool. And it looks like when they come back from the mid season farm, they'll finally be off that farm. But Herschel is a dick for

I don't think I'll be finishing the second half of this season.

This episode has the been best all season. But yea it has been very slow and uneventful until now. Good to see Rick isn't a *****.

Yeah, they go from being the dicks that shot up all their pet zombies, to being the dicks that spent the last few weeks being lied to by an even bigger dick. The episode was okay, i was kinda hoping Dale would waste Shane. Carl is so terrible.

I was hoping Daryl would waste them all and the show would end, forever.
But then the ending to the last episode was amazing so now I'm hooked again.

I know, right. I was kind of disappointed with how much I liked that ending. I got so used to hating everything.

Finally! A great episode.
And it wasn't just the ending, the whole episode was solid imo.

I was hoping that upon seeing Sophia, Carl would walk up to her and try to pet her like he did the deer and get shot again. This time in the head. I hate almost all children in shows and movies.

This.
Also, Hershel said Otis used to get the zombies that were stuck in the swamps, Otis died before he ever knew about the lost girl, so Hershel might have not even known where she was.

Does one bad episode make up for an otherwise mediocre season? Probably not, but I will continue to watch it hopes that the awesomeness ensues. I wouldn't say Shane is the best character for sure, Daryl gives him a run for his money. Both are really awesome though.

Shane is consistent and has a purpose. Darryl is kind if all over the place. That is why Shane is superior.

I'm also glad to see them pushing Andrea into the right direction. She might yet become a solid character.

This this and more of this. Otis was never around when they started the search for Sophia and if he came back with Shane then he would've said "Oh hey i found a girl who might be the one you're looking for."

What really sucks is that this story could have been told in 2 episodes.
Pathetic writers. I want action. I want some hot chicks with cleavage. I want battles between human tribes. I want discovery of the world as a whole.
This band of people is pathetically inept and boring.

I'm all for trying to flesh out the characters a bit more, but they aren't doing a good job of it. They are taking waaay too long and honestly, the more they flesh out the characters, the more I despise them. Lori is one of the worst characters ever
