I've been trying to come up with a B.J. Cunningham comparison and I'm settling in on Dwayne Bowe. Love the guy.

Worse hands, thats a definite.

Colby Fleener - Pick any tall, white non-first round TE prospect with blonde hair, a projectable frame, and some pass catching skills. I'll go with Kevin Boss.
|
Kyle Rudolph? Kevin Boss is good, but i think Fleener is better overall as a prospect, more agile, more athletic, and maybe a tad faster.

Thank you, I think this is perfect.

Boss was quite the athlete...injury problems are why he wasn't a 3rd or 4th rounder IIRC....he was a rising...I think I like Rudolph slightly more than I do Fleener, but he could work too.
More:
Mohamed Sanu - Possibly TJ H.
Billy Wynn - Kendall Langford
Kheeston Randall - Jason Hatcher/Sam Bowens/Kenyon Coleman
Mike Martin - Broderick Bunkley? Kelly Gregg
Audie Cole - Bobby Carpenter
Bruce Irwin - Antwan Barnes

Bowe has the explosion and seperation that I don't see Cunningham having at the next level

Boss has little to no body control, rendering him as a helpless receiver mostly despite his big frame. I don't think I would have him in the category with Rudolph in athleticism, and I do think he is more athletic than I am giving him credit for, but my lasting memory of him is being more stiff and average

I don't know if this was brought up but Manti Te'o strikes me as a Zach Thomas.

I see some Eric Moulds in BJ Cunningham. He's not overly explosive, but he's got a little bit of an extra gear if he catches the ball in space and can build-up speed.

Cunningham seems to be one of those guys everyone likes but thinks will be available later in the draft. Wouldn't mind getting to see him in the Senior Bowl to see why his perceived value to projected draft position is so out of sync. I like the guy quite a bit myself.

Agreed. I think he ends up going in the 2nd round.

Are there character issues with him? I remember something about him being held out for disciplinary reasons in a game this year.

He's built a little like Sean Lee. And, makes plays all over the field. Like Lee does too. Good ball skills and a knack for the ball on int's. Just a tackling machine.

I'm seeing a lot of Robert Ayres comparisons. Mainly because he doesn't have the great first step or amazing athletic ability that a lot of 1st round DE prospects have. I like Mercilus a lot but he doesn't look like a 15 sack per year potential DE. But he's a guy that should put up 7-10 on a regular basis, maybe like an Adewale Ogunleye type in the NFL (similar size).

I still think Barkley is closer to Hasselback than Weeden.
I didn't see that BJ/Muhsin one either. That's a very good one.
