If that the only jinx we get all year, I think we'll all take it.

Best game all around this season. Used our weapons on O, Pressured the QB, Tackled well. Just need to keep that playstyle rolling into next Monday.

Good time to have 11 days off. Can't wait to beat on the saints.

I still don't think we're capable of winning a Super Bowl (based on talent), but we're certainly on track to at least make a run, especially if we beat the Saints. Getting hot at the right time, mini bye week late in the season to freshen the legs, etc. Just keep rolling boys.

Julio really starting to turn it around and like someone on here said we really need to run plays where he can get some Y.A.C

I've been calling for it since we drafted him. I think Mularkey finally got it last night.

Pretty sure all of us called that to be the play he would excell at. Just how our offense works he was a better fit than AJ for that reason. Both will be excellent.
Its pretty much T.O. vs Randy Moss. Cant go wrong with either but with Matt as QB, just getting Julio the ball quickly and let him make a play, is much better than relying on deep balls.

Julio just needs to stay in the middle of the field and get the ball on those slant routes, it's working really well for him.

The occasional play action deep ball is fine too. The problems exist when we try to pull off that play 3-4 times a game, like we were previously.

I wanna see a reverse play with Julio and Eric Weems. We don't use it enough.

We are supposed to be getting Optimus Grimes back against the Saints, right? He has Brees' number.

That's what they said on the broadcast. I'm in favor of keeping him out unless he is at full health. We're making the playoffs. We are going to need Grimes perfectly healthy if we intend to do anything when we get there.

Spectacular... Only chance we had of Drew not throwing for 400 yards.

Did he not play in the first game...?
I know William Moore didn't...

He did play in the first one, he just missed the last 4 games with an injury.

Agree 100% with this, Julio has actually done very well with the deep ball but I'd love to see him get the ball quicker and make a play alot more. Just let guys make plays sometime, DB's struggle to tackle him in the open field and it's always been a positive to his game.
I'll be watching the game close, as we could end up playing you guys round 1 in the playoffs possibly.

No offense to the Cowboys but I hope and pray we play you round 1. Wouldn't have to play the Saints again at their place, and wed be in a dome and not up in freezing NY.

Exactly. That's why I really care about tonight even though we've already clinched a birth. I'd like to actually win a playoff game this year. At least one. I've already convinced myself a SB run isn't happening (unless we get amazingly hot. Who knows though, Abe and Roddy have started to pick it up...) But I think Dallas gives us our best shot at victory. I think Dallas is better than NY (having seen a bunch of both this season), but I'm more scared of NY because that pass rush would destroy our OL, which is probably the biggest weakness of the team at this point. (Not CB since Grimes is back and amazing.)
I'm also really not scared of SF either, wouldn't mind playing them.

Van Gorder needs to learn what a ******* blitz is, the 3rd down conversions are absolutely awful.
