GUYS! New idea. Netflix, but for beer. We start an intricate, NFLDC beer network where we mail local beers to each other so we can TRY EVERY SINGLE ONE!
Its genius. We'll call it...Something.

i should be fair, i *hate* that sweetness in beer. if it tastes like it would come with fruit at a bar, i generally don't like it very much.

I also do not like any beer that tastes like it comes from fruit. I have friends who drink Rickards White whenever we go out, I can't do it. It comes with an orange slice, god dammit.
And you guys would be fine! It will be an intricate, expansive network that we will start to move beer and we will expand our enterprise to include...other stuff.

For a summer BBQ with friends that might be ok, but any other time, I want to drink beer in a manner indicative of my German-Viking lineage.

I've been known to down a Corona or three during the summer and I suppose they come with a lime, but I just cannot wrap my head around a beer that comes with orange slices and tastes like juice. It seems so wrong.

I'm close to dogfish.
Also I'm pretty sure this idea is illegal. Don't you need licenses to transfer booze over state lines?

Canadian Beer is inferior!
With that said I would have to agree Philly, Cali, OR, CO would get screwed over in these trades. My area only has I would put it at five beers that would even be worthy of sending to people without full shame. I guess once I get a little better at home brewing I could send some of my stuff but I would need to get a few more batches under my belt.

This depends on your state. It is 100% legal to ship beer via parcel service in certain amounts in most states. PA is one of the few that it is a big no no.

PA is the worst state IN THE WORLD!
I can remember my first day living in this ****** state...
I get to the gas station and decide, I think I'm going to pick myself up a 6-pack
Looked around at the coolers... couldn't find the beer...
Asked the clerk where the beer was... and learned the horrible truth about this state
Thank God I live next to two distributors though. Total coincidence. I swear.

I will drink your damn country under the table sir.
There are some stellar Canadian microbrews around. Mill Street, Boews, Kawartha Lakes, Creemore, and of course the greatest, Steam Whistle, are all just excellent.

if any of those are based in quebec, i challenge the 'excellent' part. i'll have to look the next time i'm at my good beer store, though i'm guessing they don't make too many hoppy beers?

I have them all saved up starting from 9/9/09 until now. I'm not going to drink them until next year. I wanted to get the ones I missed but they are to expensive.
