Good stuff as always PF. I'm glad you have Leonard Johnson up there as he's very underrated. And I see you're higher on Kirk Cousins than most.

Lamar Miller isn't a top 5 RB in this draft? Since when?

I think he's a bit overrated, but I would have him at least over LaMichael James for sure.

Not bad, just a few things though:

1. I will second Tack here, where is Lamar Miller?

2. I think Dontari Poe and Ta'amu deserve to be ahead of guys like Wynn and Wolfe.

3. Is this purely talent based? If so I would argue Taze over Hightower. I know Taze has struggled this year and there are concerns but I still think he is a first round guy whereas Hightower is more of a second rounder.

4. I'd have T.J. McDonald in my top 5 safeties

1. I edited the rankings to reflect the mistake I made of forgetting Miller

2. I thought about Poe because his potential is extremely high but once Ta'amu can't completely shut down by DeCastro it was going to take an extraordinary effort to get into the top 5 at the position (his stock is based moreso on potential as well)

3. My rankings take into consideration everything...Taze is certainly more naturally gifted than Hightower but there are question marks with him than weigh heavily

4. McDonald is staying at USC

What keeps David Molk out of your top 5 centers if you don't mind me asking...I have him as the #3 behind Brewster. Also I love your inclusion of Derek Wolfe, very underrated prospect in my opinion, so consistently productive.

I'm all for bold predictions, but I'm an MSU fan.

Kirk Cousins is not the third best QB in this draft, like he can't be...............

Molk is too small at under 290 and I'm not sure if he's maxed out his frame or not...he'd be my 6th center so he's not far off

tell me what you don't like about him

he's an experienced signal caller with a quality arm, good mechanics and is extremely efficient in the short to intermediate passing attack...doesn't have a high ceiling but I think he's got a good shot of being a starter at some point

Terrible with his reads, it's pretty much Cunningham or bust for Cousins.. He's scared of pressure, despite having the ability to make some plays in the pocket... His throwing motion/strength is good, but his accuracy isn't.

I like him as a project behind a very good QB, but he just hasn't put it all together and to label him as the 3rd best is way too high of expectations for Kirk. He did gradually improve throughout the year though (Outback Bowl aside).

I don't think it was so much poor reads as it was poor options for receivers...Cunningham was his only downfield option; Martin never really emerged in that department...also the offensive line, especially left tackle, was a miserable spot for the team this year (Foreman far and away their best player along the front) and that didn't allow him the time or pocket on a consistent basis to excel consistently

1. Yea sorry, I saw after I posted

2. Fair enough, I would put Poe higher just because I think that with his potential he could be far better than any of the other DTs in this class. Ta'amu hasn't been great but is still possibly my #1 NT prospect but I can see leaving him off a list including everyone

3. This explains it and I don't blame you. I just was wondering if it was a purely talent based list that you put Hightower ahead of Taze on

4. I was not aware :)

Again, great list though

Brewster has a lot of hype, but he had a pretty poor season, IMO.

I'm not a huge draftnik like you guys, so I don't know how he'd rack and stack vs other centers, but he's a 3rd or 4th round talent, IMO.

No Alameda Ta'amu or Dontarri Poe in your top 5 DTs. Tell me about that.

edit: didn't see that you already addressed it.

I'll add one note...when I look at defensive tackles I place far more value on guys who are "playmakers" rather than "space eaters" even in a odd man front I like that guy who can penetrate into the backfield instead of a guy who will just command a double team

I'm not a huge draftnik like you guys, so I don't know how he'd rack and stack vs other centers, but he's a 3rd or 4th round talent, IMO.
I wouldn't say he had a poor season. He neutralized some guys who are expected to be 1st-2nd round type guys this year.

I think people are sleeping on Alshon Jeffery. I know he had a dip in production, but he had nobody throwing him the ball.

The problem is that diva WRs are a problem in the NFL and a kid that is pretty fat in college and has a bunch of other attitude issues screams diva WR.

He has all of the physical tools to be an elite WR. It's just that the boom bust potential is high on him.

Jeffery probably goes no later than than the 2nd, but if ends up being Malcolm Kelly/Mike Williams 2.0, can't say I'd be surprised.

Kirk Cousins, is he really barely 200#?? He hasn't be a spectacular QB at Michigan State or in the Big 10. Hard to imagine he's rated the 3rd best QB prospect in this draft.

Chase Minnefield should be among the top five corners.

He will be once he busts out a sub 4.4 at Indy.
