I mentioned it a couple pages back. Callahan is a good coach, I think they wanted to get Sparano back but they walked away with a great hire.

At this rate, Jeff Fisher will be having a live 1hr special on ESPN. Will he be taking his talents to South Beach?

Interesting. A guy that works at the airport here in Indy called a radio show here and said he saw Fisher boarding Irsay's plane. Probably just some loser making crap up though.

he Carolina Panthers’ treasured one-year wonder offensive coordinator, Rob Chudzinski, and the Bengals’ longime defensive taskmaster, Mike Zimmer, are cleared to interview for the Bucs’ head coaching opening,
|
Zimmer is overrated to me, Chudzinski is a good OC but don't know if i really want a HC to do the coordinators thing all over again...

Rumors are Dave Toub blew Miami away in his interview supposedly and will have a 2nd interview this weekend now that Fisher has chosen the Rams. Seems like the leader in the clubhouse.

Per Peter Kings the Rams are "expecting" to hire Gregg Williams as their DC. Why am I doubtful that happens?

So...they're "expected" to sign a guy who, under NFL rules, shouldn't have even been allowed to talk to them yet.

Yeah, I know. I've also heard that if Williams leaves, as Peter King expects, that Jack Del Rio would be his replacement in New Orleans

the expectation is based off of their friendship off the field. williams coached under fisher prior to the bills gig. williams deal expires after the season so the saints couldn't block the move.
there is also talk that maybe they will try to get washburn from philly in the same capacity (dl coach) as he has worked with fisher before as well.
