I find your statement that they one of the best CBs in the NFL laughable. Jonathan Joseph is nowhere near the best CBs in the NFL...unless you're talking about paycheck. Hell, I'd take all three of the Eagles CBs before him. Take it from a Miami fan, Brandon Harris has done nothing yet to prove he can be a good NFL player. He was vastly overrated in college and left after Michael Floyd took him to school. Texans currently have him 5th on their depth chart behind such greats as Kareem Jackson, Jason Allen and Brice McCain.
When healthy I'd take JJ over any of philly's corners not named aso. Granted given the Texans' luck he'll be injured throughout his contract. He's a very good #1 corner. if Kareem Jackson can put it together and have a break out season that team is really nicely set along the outside of the defense.

I do worry about the middle of their defense since they don't have a good fit for the NT position, which makes me worry about Demeco Ryans getting washed out of a lot of plays. That reminds me, what's their LB set up Mario - Cushing - Ryans - Brooks? And also is Connor Barwin hurt yet or is he finally going to get to try and have a break out year. Loved him coming out.

I'm thinking they already tried before they signed Collins but were turned down. Remember Irsay's tweet about being in Hattiesburg? And even though they tend to be pretty crazy, he's been right in most of his tweets.

If they'd signed Favre I would've become a temporary Lions fan. The front office upsets me enough as it is but bringing in Favre would've been too much.

First off I don't think Manning sees the the field this season IMO, Also I think the Colts will be picking top 5 next year. NOT the end of the world. If they have a shot a top Qb in the draft they should take it. Hurt or no hurt it was about that time to grab someone under Manning anyways. He is 35 turning 36 years old.

I hate to say this cause of all this hoop la, but you know it will become bad for Manning when they start to report how the Colts will try and get there money back from him for the new contract. NOT saying it will happen!!! Just saying that when the Colts might start thinking he can't play anymore. Also this is the same thing Ed Reed has been dealing with and remember when he was gong to hang it up. Sucks, but the Colts will take the lumps of losing a top 2 QB... but I think they'll come out of this better than ever....

There is just no way in Hell. Not the same offensive system, Colts don't wanna have to teach it to Favre, don't think Favre wants to hang at facilities and learn an offense. He'd rather go take shots of his dong or something. So it just would never, ever, ever, ever happen.

I think they can still win their division without Manning. All the weapons are still there on the offense and it's not like Kerry Collins is some bum off the street, he can still sling it. I always thought he was one of the most under-appreciated QBs of my era, as long as they can protect him in the pocket I think he's gonna surprise a lot of people this year.

What weapons? Wayne is aging and I don't see Garcon or Collie being any good without Manning. Heck, I feel Dallas Clark was a questionable pick now with Manning out 2-3 months for my fantasy football team.

Collins was terrible last year in Tennesee. He's old. He's not Brett Favre, who could still sling it at that age. I say they are better off with Curtis Painter, who's been in the offense as the back up for a couple years.

I think the Colts blame themselves for not getting a better back up to groom behind Peyton Manning instead of UDFA.

Absolutely not, he was thoroughly outplayed in the preseason by Dan Orlovsky... DAN ORLOVSKY!

Yea they're not winning their division. They'll be lucky if they can beat the Bengals this year.

It's a good thing Polian was scouting the Stanford/Duke game in person yesterday...

They look miserable without manning. Seriously, without him, this team could really get creamed by teams like the bengals.
