but as I just read on onthebanks.com this class is here to turn rutgers into a power and not just the coaching staff, and I for one, love it. This class is going to special and talked about for a long, long time, not just for their talent, but their maturity. It's really all on flood now too. damn.

I don't know Scotty. We might get some better coaches in here but this kills us recruiting wise. Hafley was the mastermind of all this so we need to win and win big this year. It's going to be tough to do that though with a 90% turnover in coaches and then the ones that are staying will all be in new positions.

There are also rumors that some kids might ask out of there LOI's because the coaches are leaving.

kids asking, and getting, out of their LOI's is the worst possible thing. The only real salvation is the talent we have and that Flood is very good with recruiting and i think has a really good reputation with HS coaches in state. jesus, i thought this nightmare was behind us. Dammit.

also, from what I've heard (my one athlete friend knows a lot of the football players) that they aren't actually a big fan of Cignetti. They didn't want him to be head coach at all. Take that with a grain of salt though. It'd be nice if the players did stay and all and try and build on Rutgers as a program, not just Schiano and his staff

Whatever it'll work itself out. Rutgers for me is just an enjoyable thing win or lose even though it's better when we win. It's a local thing and something I'm proud to have went to. It'll work itself out even though it's tough to see the assistants go.

P.J Fleck resigned as Northern Illinois OC..... Any chance he rejoins Flood's crew as the WR coach..... He did a great job of developing Sanu and would love to see him mold Coleman and Deering.

He already followed Schiano to the Tampa staff to coach the WR's there. Schiano took the whole staff. As an NFL staff it seems pretty terrible to have that many young college coaches with no experience.

a favorite of mine. great pass rusher from the DT spot. doesn't fit pure DT or DE well, but makes sense as a 5 tech on pass rushing downs. love his fight and energy. Always seemed to make a play on the d-line. I like him more than most. Big fan of his. Kinda similar to Eric Foster

So he could end up being on the PS for the year and pushing for a roster spot next year? We're running more and more 4-3 and need interior pass rush so he seems to fit the bill.

absolutely. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if this is the case. Not sure what that means for silvestro.

He wasn't used much last year and seemed to have bulked up a bit towards the end of the season. I think the coaching staff likes him but there's a logjam building on the DL right now so it's gonna be tough.
