No wide receivers again.
Dawson, Doleman, Kennedy, Martin and Roaf are the Last 5.

How'd Martin get in before Parcells. He was a compiler and only ever played on good teams because of Parcells.

Who shouldn't be there then? They can only put a max of 5 modern era each year.

I'm very surprised that they didn't put any of the WRs in this year.
As from that i did very well with my prediction from a few months ago.

Willie Roaf- I personally don't see how he doesn't make it in this year. Probably the biggest lock for me
Cortez Kennedy- He's been gaining momentum the past few years, and this is the perfect oppurtunity to push him through.
Dermontti Dawson- He's been waiting a little while, this is the year to push him through. Especially considering all the worthy O-linemen that are becoming eligible over these next few years.
Those 4 I am very confident will make it, but the last spot is kind of interesting. I am pretty sure for the sake of balance it will be a definsive player, either Charles Haley or Chris Doleman(He is my choice).]

Only thing I'm disappointed with is Curtis Martin over any of the 3 wide receivers. The WR logjam is getting ugly and 2012 should have been the year to start clearing it up. Marvin Harrison joins the ballot in 2014 and next year has some very strong 1st time eligibles in Jon Ogden, Larry Allen, Michael Strahan and Warren Sapp.

Wow. I think all 5 of those guys could get in on first ballot.

Marvin Harrison is not getting in. The NFL writers don't want a gang enforcer in the HOF.

Yeah I take that back. I thought 5 were listed after Harrison. But Allen, Ogden, Strahan, and Sapp could be.

Next year is brutal for those who didn't make it today. Morten Andersen also joins the ballot. You could take the 10 finalists that didn't make it today with Ogden, Sapp, Allen, Strahan and Andersen as your 15 modern era finalists for 2013.

Curtis Martin doesn't even ******* belong in the hall of fame, Jesus. Outside of one or two years, I can't think of one time where I'd say "This guy is one of the best RBs in the NFL." Come on.

Carter and Brown definitely deserved it over Martin this year. This makes me very angry.

Curtis Martin? -___-
Also, the WR people need to really be bitching about not being in the HoF is Cliff ******* Branch. **** Tim Brown. And **** the HoF voters for selecting Biletnikoff over Branch in the 1st place.
**** Cris Carter, too (possession WR fuckwad, that's what he is). And Marvin Harrison, who should never ever be in the HoF based on how much of a postseason ***** he was.

Branch would be a senior candidate though. Martin didn't take his place.

Branch isn't considered modern-era? He retired in 85.
