What's stopping this guy from being a late 1st round pick? His film has always been very impressive, he's been productive at several different spots, he drew some rave reviews after making a position change at Senior Bowl but the question with him was size and athletic upside. He then went on to dominate the combine at 6'3 260 with some excellent times and great performance in the positional drills. His times would have stacked up against the best of the LB group as well despite being 260lbs. Pretty much every concern people have had about him he's been able to answer convincingly. He's proven he has the size and athleticism to play any LB spot in any defense. With the status of 2nd tier DE/LB types all being clumped together, to me, Shea has put himself in that group and actually started to separate himself from the others. That and the fact that there is a shortage of quality 43 LB's at the top of the draft makes me think that Shea's stock is going to be rapidly ascending.
