I don't know if AC3 has a release date yet, but ME3 is being released on the 7th.

They are ending AC series with this one right? or is there going to be 3.5, 3.74, and then 4.

I seriously doubt they end it. It is a huge cash cow for them.

I'm all set for ME3, just finished 2 tonight. Everyone survived the suicide mission...made almost entirely paragon choices throughout, except I let the council die at the end of 1 and saved the Collector base at the end of 2.
It's going to be intense...I only wish I had taken Wednesday off of work...I took off next Monday, so I'll have a three day weekend next weekend to really attack it.
BTW, it's worth mentioning that in 2, I died a total of 5 times.
Against Husks - 4
Against everything else - 1 (got flanked and charged by a Krogan pretty early on in the game.)
God damn Husks.
Also, how awesome is Garrus? I don't think there was a single time in either of the games I just played through where he was out of my party. He better live through 3. I wouldn't have a problem with Shepard making the ultimate sacrifice at the end, but Garrus better ******* live.

I'm about 2/3 done Mass Effect 2 right now. Just finished the Shadow Broker DLC, was pretty magnificent.

Thank you! Garrus is my nig. I'm so going to be rolling with him and Wrex in 3. Just like old times.

The only way that Garrus would be out of my party is if I could have Ashley and Miranda at the same time. I'm a fan of rotating camera angles to show their asses. There should be a way to have to have slept with both of them, then after beating the game on insane, have it unlock a threesome. That would be cool.

That's my one issue with the game. They could have made Shep a huge space pimp. I mean they let you sleep with jack and anyone else.

I love Garrus, but I also never was able to use him. In ME1, it was Tali & Wrex for party balance. In ME2, it was Justice & Miranda for OP-ness (I read this over and it does sound like oh, *****...but I decided to leave it).

It would be njx that hates something everyone else loves. I've long since treated his opinions as the group outlier.
Shep + Garrus + a Krogan = many wins.

Garrus + Ashley
Garrus + Wrex
Garrus + Miranda
Garrus + Grunt
Pretty much all I use. Unless someone was needed for a mission, obviously.

meh, i can't remember who i used. usually whoever had healing or whatever it was. wrex all the time, every time in 1, the other one in 2. garrus just didn't offer anything different, since my character was identical.

Honestly...strategy never came into play for me. I just liked the personalities more than anything. Garrus is a fantastic character.

My character was a Vanguard. Same as Wrex. So My group was best off with Wrex and Tali in the first game for optimal balance.
In the second game, Miranda & Justice was just sooo powerful. I couldn't not go with that combo. And I didn't even like Miranda!
In an ideal world, I would have used Garrus & Wrex/Grunt at all times. When it came right down to it, though... Wrex >>>> Garrus.

For Jacob and Miranda I used the other for each others missions. That's as much as I did for using anyone else other than Garrus.

The writing is sooo good I always viewed Garrus as a best friend who would have Shep's back no matter what. Wrex at the end of the day was out for himself (see virmire).

Same. I went through and talked to the entire party one last time before the suicide mission...I just wish Garrus had more to say than just "can it wait? I'm in the middle of some calibrations."
I was really hoping I could tell him how awesome he was and thank him for help in everything. I just pretend in my mind that's what actually happened.

Only because you didn't put a bullet in his brain on Virmire.
