Two guys I really like are Chandler Jones and Cam Johnson. I'm not sure I would have them that high but it's good to see something different when it comes to rankings.

I also agree with Blackmon fitting in around the mid teens range. I think he will be a good player but don't see any special quality to him

You never do put out cookie cutter lists, but some of this is puzzling.

I do love me some Cam Johnson, but #10 overall is pushing it. I'd probably have him in the 20's as the #2 DE after Coples and ahead of Vinny Curry.

Chandler Jones is interesting. If he'd gone to USC instead of Syracuse he'd probably be thought of in the same light as Nick Perry.

Your list are always questionable.

Casey Hayward as the #17 best prospect in the entire draft? I mean its like your trying to be different just to be different.

I have to read this much more as "28 guys PF really, really likes" because if you're trying to suggest Cam Johnson is the 11th best player in this draft, then I feel I might be going crazy.

This is the definition of an "I told you so" list. If this actually turns out to be the truth you should be hired as a GM. This is very obscure for several reasons. To point just one out - Mychal Kendricks. A bit high for my taste, great combine workout and solid player, but first rounder he is not.

I've been high on Hayward all year and his performance senior year gave me no reason to change that. He's a fundamentally sound corner with great instincts and ball skills. He's also willing to hit and is a decent tackler; doesn't carry the baggage of Kirkpatrick either.

Cam Johnson has good burst off the line, plays well with his hands, and gets done the line as good as any end in the draft. He needs to work on rush moves more but he only has two years under his belt at the position and during the Senior Bowl week his displayed his ability as much as any prospect there.

A lot of the prospects on this list are relatively safe but even reaching their ceilings would prevent them from being considered among the 30 best players in the draft. I'd be surprised if half of those players ended up developing into offensive or defensive cornerstones like a first-round pick should have the ability to eventually do. Why spend a first-round pick on a player who has no chance of ever justifying their draft position?

This list is fine. It's his OWN big board.

It's the consensus internet board that everyone else builds theirs "own" board around that is always way, way off.

I disagree with no Stephen Hill, and might like Lamar Miller in there somewhere, but I could definitely envision Kuechly becoming the 4th best player of this class.

I also agree with the lack of Poe and Jeffrey.

I mean think about it, if you had Jared Allen, LeSean McCoy, Ray Rice, or Lofa Tatupu in your top-28 in their draft years you'd be accused of just being different to be different. But in fact, you'd be right.

Same if you didn't have Reggie Bush, Tye Hill, Matt Leinart, or Vince Young in your 2006 big board. But you'd be right.

He's not just being different to be different. His opinion is what it is based on his own evaluations. Insinuating that he has some ulterior motive to gain attention is insulting to the work he put in.

I appreciate the willingness to be an independent thinker and then post those thoughts here where, in general, you get slammed for not getting in line with the accepted pundits on any given player.

Does anyone actually think Smith can play Fs? I think he's one of those SS/LB types. They have their uses obviously, but I think he'll struggle going backwards as a pro.

This would be my biggest complaint. You can like these guys, that's fine. But there's zero chance a guy like Casey Hayward ever plays in a pro bowl.

Right. If every team released their big boards after every draft everyone's minds would be blown by a ton of things. PF doesn't have Matt Kalil 15th or something outlandish like that, so you can't say he's doing things for attention because he has a handful of different guys in his top 28 - there are probably almost 10 guys in the consensus top 28 that won't go there.

Stephen Hill is close for me. I really wish there was more tape to look at for him but given the offense there's only so much you can see as far as his abilities as receiver. If I were to round it out to a Top 30 he'd be in one of those last two spots.

Poe has the measurables, there's no denying that, but his play at Memphis doesn't suggest that he's a player who holds such rare abilities. I think he's a good developmental guy somewhere in the 2nd/3rd round but all this talk about Top 15 is baffling to me.

Konz, who has some pass protection issues, as #10 overall? I like him, but 10 seems excessive.

Kendricks that high? He has some desirable qualities, and I have faith in him finding a niche in a 34 down the line, but that high?

Reiff as the #8 player in the draft is just hard to take seriously.

Harrison Smith?

Konz, who has some pass protection issues, as #10 overall? I like him, but 10 seems excessive.

Kendricks that high? He has some desirable qualities, and I have faith in him finding a niche in a 34 down the line, but that high?

This isn't a strong class when it comes to top tier talent so once you get past probably the Top 7 then there's plenty of debate possible as to who can go where and how highly rated a prospect should be.

Reiff is an experience guy who shows wonderful footwork and moves so well at the tackle position. I wouldn't say he's extraordinary as either a pass protector or run blocker but he is very solid at both and projects to be a guy who you can slide in a left tackle and get quality play from come day one.
