Say, "do you want to go _________(around the corner, home, to the car) and make out?" If its already in a private spot then just simplify it to "come here" and enjoy.

If she says yes, then don't keep the conversation going, just say, "let's go" and enjoy.

Doesn't matter if its midconversation or if you're talking about dead relatives. Just ask it. Simple and direct. It pays off way more than anything else.

As a salesman, I know that you should try and get your "yes" and then S-T-F-U. Ask a simple and direct statement, if it works then S-T-F-U and make out/move on from there. If it fails, then keep chipping away at the ice.

idk how common this is but a friend of mine in HS put five helium balloons in her trunk spelling "prom?" walk her to her car for whatever reason and voila. i thought it was clever.

My friends and I headed up to the school's Prom Weekend location, got ****** up, made moves on the girls when they got there. It was a tremendous success, and saved a ton of money.

My Junior year I just went up to a girl struck up a conversation and then about five minutes into it, I asked her if she wanted to go to prom. My senior year, I got really lucky. I was friends with an attractive cheerleader. We went to get dinner together one night and we started talking about prom. I said I didn't have a date yet. She said "Oh, I thought you were going with Whitney. If not, we should just go together."

No need to go all out for it with balloons, big wall paintings, or whatever the hell kids are doing these days. Just walk up to her, talk for a second, and then ask her to prom.
