Schefter confirms, 3 first round picks and a 2nd rounder. Wonder what year the second rounder is.
Washington Redskins traded three first-round draft picks and a second-round pick to St. Louis for second overall... http://fb.me/Q2ydwWXu

Wow.
First reaction: Thats a HUGE price to pay.
Second reaction: Cleveland is still insane not for matching.

That's nuts.
3 firsts (2012, 13, and 14)
1 second (probably not 2012... because they'll need a WR in this class)
and more picks? I hope the Rams at least gave them a BJ too...

The Redskins traded three first round picks and a second round pick for the No. 2 overall pick.
Clev is smart for not giving up both 4-22 and next years 1 for RG3 because that was only 2 years of 1's where St L wanted a 3 year involved even if it meant a 3rd year 2nd and Clev did not want to give a up a pick 3 years from now

<+BOE> Scott, with Burfict's character concerns (whether legit or not) you think Pioli would draft him. :D
<+ScottWright> Why not. Baldwin does need a sparring partner...

They would have had to give up pick 4, 22, 37, a 2013 first, and some...
That's crazy. I'd just make a play for Matt Flynn or keep building for next year.

And maybe more (though, I have a feeling it'll be like a 2014 6th rounder or something)

3 1st rders and a 2nd, maybe more. Glad the Browns didn't try to top it.
EDIT: Apparently we did try to top it. Rumored we offered 3 1sts and a 2nd, but Rams took the Skins deal

Two first rounders is A LOT to move up 4 spots, especially when you realize that picks are worth more now with the rookie salary system in effect. Redskins REALLY value Robert Griffin.

They're only worth more if the Redskins finish with a poor record.

Their receivers kinda blow, they don't have much of an offensive line, and Roy Helu is their man back (right? I think he is). It's not like they have a world beating offense that they're adding a final piece to.

It does open up the Redskins to going hog wild (pun intended) in FA. VJax, OL (Nicks?), Garcon, whoever.

On the positive side, now the Redskins can have a bounty program and not lose their first round picks!

I've had Washington picking #2 for weeks now. This was just too perfect a coach/player match.
But that price... wow. RG3 officially has more pressure on him than Andrew Luck IMO.

3. Kalil
4. Blackmon
5. Claiborne
Who would the Rams take? Trent? Floyd?

Huge price to pay for a pick, but I respect a team that has the balls to go up and get their guy. RGIII is going to get a ton of media attention now. Do the Skins now make a push for Vincent Jackson? Hopefully for them Leonard Hankerson does a lot of developing during the offseason.

They'd trade down again (if possible) or consider Reiff most likely.
