I'm seeing reports now that this is basically just a way to get Sanchez cap number down and spread it across 5 years instead of 2. They fully guaranteed the next 2 years to make up for the Manning rumor, but it does two things:

1) makes him cuttable after 2 years (which he basically was already)
2) keeps him around if he progresses at a cheap rate.

Thanks but I would like to see a full breakdown of the numbers. Mcnabb's initial contract said 40 milllion guaranteed and everyone flipped. In reality it was just 3.5 million and very easy to cut after one year. 20 million guaranteed might be only guaranteed for injury only. Its almost impossible to accurately understand contracts these days especially QB ones.
