3 receiving yards from WR's in that loss screams "need big help" when it comes to your receiving corps. Obviously he wasn't referring to your whole team, just the lack of weapons at WR.

Apologies for not reading his mind for context. If Tim Tebow was available he'd want that.

Doesn't matter who the 49ers bring in at WR. You need someone to utilize them.

Per Adam Schefter, the 49ers and Moss agreed to terms on a one year contract.

Wow, I may not like the 49ers but this tells me Moss still has something left. Harbaugh wouldn't want to bring in a over the hill WR, and Moss must have worked out as well as he was rumored to in New Orleans. They still need a big physical WR, but Moss will give them such a different weapon on offense.

Alex Smith deep bombs to Moss. Wait Smith can throw it 50 yards?

The last time he had a good stretch the field WR was Antonio Bryant and that year he had a 18.3 avg.
Recently he has been too hard on the long throws or lofting them out of bounds. Over thinking them and no trust or chemistry with the WRs down the field other than Vernon.

Manning needs to go to San Fran, would be too epic with that run game, VD, Randy, and that defense.

Moss is going to have as much impact on their offense in the redzone as he will in terms of stretching the field. San Fran's redzone offense was pretty bad last year, and this should help improve them substantially.

Randy Moss is getting a lot of love on here but if he had anything left, he would have played last year. If he does more than 40 catches, 500 yards, 5 TDs I'll be incredibly surprised.

If he runs something other than in a straight line and jump balls I'll be surprised.

I'm happy for randell moss. He is a great player and will do very well in San Fran with vernon davis, alex smith, and frank gore. Alex smith will have a chance to shine up that manly cannon arm and really let er rip to randell and davis with the deep ball. Randell really looked great in his workouts like the moss of old. This will be very fun to watch. Now I just have to pray that my Denver broncos acquire Peyton Manning so tebow has someone to learn from for the future. I pray everynight after rehearsing my favorite part of the bible.

If Alex and Moss hit on a few early in the season, Vernon and Frank will be very happy dudes. Seems like a strange fit, but Harbaugh definitely gets a lot of effort from his guys and they really bought in last year. I guess we'll see.

Ugh. Massive let down. Smith might be able to find him every once in a while, but he'll miss him so often that Moss is gonna get bored. I wish the Bears had brought him in.

I don't know. Ask New Orleans.

Joking aside, not really happy with the signing. Better than our other receivers, but I can already see him bitching and complaining if he doesn't get the ball in Jim Harbaugh's tight end heavy offense.
Whatever. Harbaugh gets the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

Cutler to Moss would have been about 1,000x as exciting as the current situation. 49ers need to sign Culpepper just so this isn't a waste.
