It's not a lot at all. 2 3rds for an elite #1 receiver with decent contract is great value. Yes he has the off field issues but we dont even know if this one is true.

People on draft boards always overrate late-round picks; anything past the first two rounds are usually depth or busts. For every one late-round pick that makes the pro bowl, another 10 are out of the league in a few years.

The third is a good place for good teams to get high upside depth guys to polish into eventual starters. Yeah it's not going to turn a bad team around, but I'd say that for good teams that need to keep replenishing their depth that the first 3 rounds are important, after that you're looking at long shots and special teamers.

Two third rounders for a three-time pro bowler in the prime of his career. We'll live.

Head cases like Marshall can cause problems for the development of young QBs. That's probably why they shipped him off, knowing they weren't likely to get Manning.

Marshall won't give Cutler any problems like that.

I find it even funnier that a Skins fan is trying to chastise another front office for trading away picks. That's even more lollzz. Two 3rd round picks for a guy who has consistently gotten over 100 catches and 1100 yards? Matched back up with the QB he thrived with? Yea, Chicago is so stupid. /sarcasm

That and he's only 27. Yes he does have issues, none of which you would have a problem with if you guys had done the trade. You could have traded two 2nd's and you'd probably be stoked to hell, but it's more fun to chastise another team for getting a steal when your two starting WR's are average #3 guys signed to FA contracts.

I agree. I think it's a good trade for both teams.

Marshall's problems are more off the field than on the field.

And how many times does a guy have to get accused of hitting a woman before we realize where there's smoke there's fire? 1 woman, fine, she was golddiggin, 2 woman, ok maybe, maybe you didn't learn your lesson the first time.

But what is this, like the 4th time this happened? Come on. He's a turd.

Probably the best move the Bears could have made this offseason. Lest we forget the New York Post is not exactly known for their journalistic integrity. Even if he misses 4 games or so this year, he's still the best receiver the Bears have ever had.

So for it's worth they have the best quarterback and the best receiver they've had in a generation.

On one hand, I feel like the Bears recently gave up a lot of picks for Cutler, and giving up 2 more for Marshall could jeopardize their depth in the next 2-3 years. However, the Bears need a legit receiver and 2 third round picks for Marshall is a nice steal.

3 picks and Kyle Orton got us Cutler and Johnny Knox. Which would be the absolute most you could ask for with those 3. And mind you, KO was not even the guy you see now. Plus we couldn't draft worth **** at the time. Just sayin.'
