Lol Boozer just took Dwight baseline off the dribble.
If Boozer could even play like 50% as well as he has had the last two weeks come playoff time, I'll actually be hopeful.

Dealing with Otis Smith is like trading lunches with the slow kids at school. Although it's nice that they got rid of it, you have enough dead money with Warrick, Childress and Frye.

Frye isn't dead money he has become a great post defender and his ability to drain 3s is always useful
Hopefully we amnesty Chilldress after the year, we're stuck with Warrick though

But apparently he forgot how to shoot 3s this season.

37% isn't really that bad for a guy who shoots a lot of threes.

Tristian Thompson looking like a #4 overall pick.
Kyrie Irving won American Idol using sign language.
In a meaningless game, our rookies shined real bright. Future looks awesome for the Cavs, gotta surround Kyrie with some talent and we have the picks in the coming drafts to do so. We've got ourselves some young talent.

Its up to 47% since the all star break, he was really struggling early in the year but because of that he realized the only way to stay on the court was by playing D so it's kinda a blessing

Magic are garbage, even without Rose the Bulls are making this team look like a WNBA team.

I'm not sure which move makes more sense.. The Kings waiving JJ Hickson or the Grizzlies signing Gilbert Arenas?

The Griz move easy. They were playing guys like Josh Selby at PG. The Memphis backup PG situation is that bad that Arenas is a upgrade.

Probably Hickson being waived. People on here think he's better than he is, and if he was causing trouble in the locker room as rumored I don't think it's that surprising.
Arenas still being paid to play basketball is just baffling though. I'm sure D will come in here and tell us how he's about to turn it around though.

Mayo can play it in short stretches as well, and Josh Selby is a better basketball player than Gilbert Arenas. He's much more athletic, a more capable defender and doesn't feel like he has to shoot every time he touches the ball.

Josh Selby cant not run a offense. Gilbert Arenas is a better PG then Selby and Pargo. Granted that is not saying that much but I would rather have Arenas as my pg over both of the guys they got behind Conley.
The Griz must feel comfortable from what they saw in his workout otherwise they would not have signed him.
Where as the Hickson move makes no sense cause if you wanted him gone you could have at least got something for him at the deadline even if it was a mere 2nd round pick.

Hickson is shooting 37% from the field as a 6'9 PF. He sucks. He's sucked for a while now. He's still living off hype from his first year or two.
I'm not saying Selby is good, I've really never liked him that much, but there are at least 100 guys I would rather have running my offense than Gilbert Arenas, You don't need anyone special to be a backup PG, just a guy who can defend and handle the ball without turning it over, and Arenas can't do either.

He is just as good as Jordan Hill who was traded for a 1st round pick. Someone easily would have traded for him at the deadline if the Kings were so desperate to get rid of him.
Arenas is not my first choice of being my backup PG if it was up to me. However I understand why they made the move.

If they wanted to get rid of him, do you really think they didn't shop him around to other teams?

They might have, but I think he had a pretty short list of teams that he wants to go to.

I have no idea if they did or didn't shop him. Maybe they tried to get more value for him then other teams wanted to give really I have no idea.
The point is he had more value then a guy being bought out in the middle of the 2nd half of the season.
Imo the Griz move makes more sense then the Kings buying out Hickson.
